davebg 0 Posted October 10, 2006 Backstory: RMoss has been focking KILLING me, but now that he's scored 2 weeks in a row I've got a nibble on the line. The stregnth of my team has been RB (LT, Gore and KJones) and waiver wire WRs (ReWilliams and Berrian.) I give: RMoss, Mason, KJones & MRobinson (after his performance this week Gore will get GL carries back IMO) I get: SMoss, Bryant (he's got some nice FF playoff matchups...that's a tough time of year for a WR like Berrian), Jurevicious (fits my bye weeks) and FTaylor (tasty matchup vs. HOU on Gore's bye week.) So, my starting lineup (other than byes) would be: Bulger LT & Gore SMoss, ReWilliams & Berrian Watson Wilkins ATL or JAX D/ST (depending on matchup) Pretty much, I give up a little depth at RB in return for dumping RMoss for SMoss...plus some bye week relief. I am inclined to make the deal. What do you think? Remember, leave a link to your's and I'll respond.
lv_2_hack 0 Posted October 10, 2006 Man i'm not sure about this one. I don't really think you upgrade anywhere. Brunell is bad and I think S. Moss is going to be about as much of a hit or miss as Rmoss will be. Just my opinion I think you wait b/c I think that RMoss, Mason, and Kjones are better than Smoss, Jurevicious(didn't he get hurt?), bryant, and Fred Taylor. irish2007 0 Posted October 10, 2006 i'd be surprised if that one isn't vetoed. if you can get those guys, you will be sitting pretty. i like smoss and bryant to finish strongly this season. good move on your part if it works.

CookieG 4 Posted October 10, 2006 Would agree with above post. I'm not a huge KJ fan but he's been pretty good so far.. I like Santansa, but don't love him.. in my league, KJ would fetch more than Santana Moss.. i do appreciate the Randy jettison deal, but like lv 2 hack said, unless he gets himself off the raiders, he'll likely produce sporatic TDs like Moss. I would try to package randy & KJ for a Marvin, CJ. someone who hasn't performed up to snuff yet, but has mega upside.. that's just me, but decent starting RBs are major chips. KJ's also been hot lately. L'il Help? QB Options
DABEARS123 0 Posted October 10, 2006 Santana Moss is a good call-> Guaranteed alotta looks with a shaky offense that is built around him and Portis
Lord_Nelson 0 Posted October 10, 2006 I like it (and would do it..). I also like Taylor and A bryant - both should continue to do well.. Thanks for your posting!

KJ's also been hot lately. I'd love to get a guy like CJ or Marvin, but those teams don't work well for me, as I'd have to take a major hit at RB3 due to their RB woes (and I still have Gore's bye week coming up.) With the deal currently on the table I still have Taylor as my bye filler (vs. HOU) and just in case the injury bug hits (Taylor's not ideal, but he's better than JLewis or Dillon...who are the guys I'd likely be able to get in return.) Puntarelli 0 Posted October 10, 2006 SF's schedule is looking pretty bad as far as running match ups for the next 7weeks other than @DET week 10 I think i would switch Gore for K Jones in the deal, but it does look to be good either way RMoss for SMoss and ABryant is good for you, with or with out Jureviscious, imho And personally, I like JAX run game better than SF or DET There's my $.02 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=242643

FTaylor will lose his starting job shortly I think. Do it if you are sick of Moss scoring 5pts a week

Do it if you are sick of Moss scoring 5pts a week Id say go for it - RMoss was on the air today talking about trades again. He has pretty much given up. And SMoss is a plus, even with a pretty poor QB. Please help with mine

enoto 0 Posted October 11, 2006 I like it, R Moss is headed for the doghouse AGAIN, Fred seems strong and S Moss and Bryant has good upsides. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=242672
