Trying to trade for Palmer

I playiin a 12 team standard non-PPR league. My team is:

 

Brady/Leinart/Harrington

LJ/LT/Rhodes/Addai/L. Washinton

Holt/Harrison/Housh/D. Jackson/Chambers/Henry

 

Palmer has been a disappointment so far this season. I was trying to acquire him to team with Brady. I don't know if I need to but I think I may be able to get him for Leinart/Rhodes/Chambers. I don't start Rhodes but he is nice insurance as the Indy rbbc. Should I make this move? Do you think I need to make this move? As ridiculous as it sounds, I am looking to week 16 and Leinart plays SF while Brady gets Jacksonville and Palmer get Denver. Should I hang onto Leinart just for week 16?

i would give it a try if i were you. palmer and brady would be a lethal duo for you to just play matchups with the rest of the year. the guys you would be trading are good players but not important parts of your team. so depending on the other guys other qb it is a fair trade and may be accepted.

I would also try that trade. It might be accepted because te players that you are trading all have potential.

honestly, in a 12 person league, with possesion recievers such as harrison and holt, and rb's like LJ and LT, you have already won. Brady will do fine this year, there is no reason to give up any of those pieces, ride them out to the championship. Check mine out please

I would make that move. Anytime you can give up supporting players for a quality starter you really have to strongly consider it. I recently traded away Rhodes and split up my monopoly on the Indy RBBC and it was the best move that I have made, I no longer have to worry about which one to start, and I improved my team in other positions.

If you can get Palmer for what you are looking to give up. Don't hesitate, You would have a lethal combo. As well as have additional option to trade brady for additional upgrades

You know .. I view it a little differently. I still don't think Carson is back at last year's level. He does not look mobile to me. I would not trade for him.

I think everyone lights up SF ... Things could change between then and now. If the offer is on the table try and hold off until closer to your trade deadline. It's too early to look toward week 16

I'd echo what others are saying here. Do the trade. You can reassess the playoff picture later in the year as well.

I'd make an offer for Leinart and DJ, or even Brady and Chambers. Palmer will be red hot in the second half of the season.

There is no possible way to get LJ, LT, Brady, Harrison, Holt, DJax, Housh, and Chambers in a 12 team league. If you can get Palmer too, do it. Your league sounds fishy to me though!!!!!!!
