This couldn't be further from true. The R's see the world in black and white, while the D's claim to have the ideal vision of colors.

The place in the middle is where we should all be.

The GOP got arrogant and decided to abandon the moderate voters who support them. It'll take me a long time to forgive them for massive budget deficits, this Iraqi war, banning stem cell reserch and promoting 'retarded design' in schools and for plundering the environment. They're coated in abject failure.

Where are Daddy Bush, Newt Gingrich, and Bob Dole to keep the incompetent self loathing, sexually-repressed gay Bible thumping focktards in line?

Being a republican does not make you stupid just like being a democrat isn't stupid. If you understand them at a basic level they both have strenths and weaknesses. The question should be why are the current republican leaders so stupid. Or why do true republicans believe the lies that our current administration is feeding us. Republicans should be the ones wanting a change. They should force a change in their own party during the primarys. Bill Clinton had a republican congress and he got a lot done. The current adminstration has brainwahsed everyone into blieving that demo's are weak. That if we elect them our country would be attacked by terroist, that they are soft, stupid, and don't support the army. Plus, they turned liberal into a bad word. When people say liberal, people take it for the most extreme meaning, not the actualy meaning.

Well, the democrats must not exactly be geniuses either since they have yet to figure out how to dominate national elections despite having 99% of the black vote The answer is obvious, but they still haven't figured it out.

Well said.

Bush has done this for many years. He characterizes his strategies and actions in the most innocuous ways; he then ignores honest reasons for disagreement with him; and he characterizes his opponents' positions in the most absurd manner possible. For example, the "war on terror," Bush never mentions the constitutional concerns about his strategies or the questions about their effectiveness. According to him, his decisions are always benign and obvious; those of his opponents border on the crazy and disloyal.
