DanXIII 8 Posted November 7, 2006 I guess I should be thankful that Bama is ranked so high going into the season. Their RPI is going to be horrible. They play no one OOC. The only notable OOC road games are at Notre Dame and at NC State...and those guys can't be that good considering neither one of them got a single vote. They have an unproven coach and have only one decent scoring threat. The SEC is going to be tough this year with Bama/Florida/LSU/Kentucky just to name a few. Bama did the same thing a few years ago, and ended up in the NIT beacause of their sos. Don't know why they're underscheduling this year. They're a good team. Tarheel Boy 0 Posted November 7, 2006 another one of you guys huh? tourney is in march try to stop Oden then Yeah, because it's been proven big men can't be stopped in the tourney. See Shaq/Duncan/Mourning/Mutombo/ etc.

hoffdaddy 1 Posted November 7, 2006 Meh. One and done. enjoy him for a semester. And I'll add, it's a friggin travesty that the Buckeyes are ranked ahead of Wisconsin. They are the clear Big Ten favorite.
Byars41 0 Posted November 7, 2006 i'm surprised V'Nova is that close to the top 25 after losing Foye, A.Ray, and Lowry. I guess they just assume Curtis Sumptner will be the same player he was before the knee injuries

Hurricane Ditka 0 Posted November 7, 2006 Illinois is getting hosed in the polls, not that they mean much in college basketball. They have an easy schedule early and should be 12-0.

I have them barely out of my top 25. I think Illinois is going to be a surprise team this year. They'll miss Brown and Augustine, but they'll still be tough. I don't know if they'll be 12-0 though because I think Maryland will give them a good game and they play at Arizona.

Sho Nuff 720 Posted January 10, 2007 A little nervous at the end of that one. Bo better have those guys at the line alot in practice today. Game should have been over with 2 minutes left.
hoffdaddy 1 Posted January 10, 2007 A little nervous at the end of that one. Bo better have those guys at the line alot in practice today. Game should have been over with 2 minutes left. No doubt. Ohio State, with an injured Oden, are surviving with their three point shooting. Two things stood out for Wisconsin. 1. They didn't shoot free throws well down the stretch. 2. They didn't defend the three all that well, especially late. Considering they didn't play a very good game, to come out with a win is huge. They have a lot of room for improvement, which is unreal. And how about Marcus Landry blocking shots in the paint!! He played like he was 7' tall and 270 pounds.
