Norpac Attack 0 Posted November 26, 2006 WR- (need 1) Mason vs. PIT or Stallworth vs. IND RB- (need 1) Maroney vs. CHI L. Washington vs. HOU Droughns vs. CIN ***Big week for my team, would appreciate your thoughts
enoto 0 Posted November 26, 2006 Mason is the bet, he has an established QB Droughns, but Leon is close.....Maroney COULD have a decent game, Chi has had a couple big run games against them, but they can also shut you down to http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=255905
bunnerjk 0 Posted November 26, 2006 I would play Stallworth, Mason hasn't did too much all season long. Droughns is a starter against a weak D, how could you pick one of the other RB's that split carries???

Droughns is a starter against a weak D, how could you pick one of the other RB's that split carries??? I totally hear what you are saying, here is what I am struggling with: Pittsburgh's corners are really struggling, and Mason has become more of a red zone target. Everything I read tells me to stay away from Stallworth against the Colts, but that game has to be a shootout. Also, Droughns may split with J. Wright, L.Washington is playing HOU and the Maroney is fast enough to give the Bears some fits... I am going nuts with this and I am hoping S. Smith, Bulger and my other guys make this decision irrelevant. I would definitely welcome any other thoughts...
dereknyc76 0 Posted November 26, 2006 WR- (need 1) Mason vs. PIT or Stallworth vs. IND RB- (need 1) Maroney vs. CHI L. Washington vs. HOU Droughns vs. CIN ***Big week for my team, would appreciate your thoughts I'd give an edge to Mason at WR. Stallworth could be big risk/reward (I have to start him this week, blech). RB I'd go with Leon, but this is a very tough call between all 3. I have to admit I'm not sure of Droughns' status , I think the Pats will rely more on Dillon vs CHI, and even though Leon is splitting time HOU is giving up yards. Thanks for mine. ltpunk 0 Posted November 26, 2006 Mason for sure I would go with Maroney I think Brady will pick apart the Bears ans open up the run game

Overthemiddle 0 Posted November 26, 2006 I would go with Droughns vs Cincy crap run D and Stallworth against Indy. Thanks for the reply
mrgymrat 0 Posted November 26, 2006 I would go Droughns vs bad Cincy D. you know that he will get the carries. As for WR, I can't see playing Stallworth w/ Garcia at the controls. Not a big fan of Mason but the Ravens O has been on fire since Billick started calling plays. Better player = Stallworth Better matchup = Mason Go Mason
potsie03 0 Posted November 26, 2006 If it were me I would play Stallworth and Droughns. Stallworth should be good for 50 yards and a TD and Cincy has a D that can be run on. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=255939

As for your RB's I would go with Droughns if he's healthy. If not, then I'd say Maroney would be your next best bet as the Bears have been run on with decent success at times. philssteelers200 0 Posted November 26, 2006 Thanks for mine... Stallworth Washington... Looks like all three are RBBC and Washington has the best matchup.
booya 0 Posted November 26, 2006 Mason and Washington seems to be the best choice.
believe_in_gibbs 0 Posted November 26, 2006 Your choices aren't obvious Here's my take: Mason since Stallworth is still questionable (hamstring). Washington and Droughns could do well. They're safe bets (especially Droughns vs the Bengals porous run 'd'). Personally, I'll always take the young guy with more upside. Maroney is your guy. I can't recite the exact stat that I heard on Espn, but the Bears have given up huge running yardage the last two weeks. Maroney is physical yet has the home run threat that your other backs (and Dillon) lack. Maroney just needs one long run along with 10-15 carries to help you team.
