peenie 1,696 Posted November 26, 2006 it's a french film, very european. i had to watch it twice as i could barely stay awake the first time. however, i think...i think the film may be brilliant, i'm not sure. i would like to discuss it. it's slow, it doesn't have a neat ending, but it's haunting. MDC 5,915 Posted November 26, 2006 Yes. It wasn't bad but it was waaaaayyyyy tooooooooo slooooooowwwwww. Got kind of boring. The same director made a movie called "Funny Games" - much better film and one of the most focked up movies I've ever seen. I'd recommend that if you liked Cache. I saw it when it was out in the theaters. I read a review of it that sounded interesting. It was sorta interesting but kind of boring. I don't think it matters who was sending the tape - I think the director was just focking with his audience. Funny Games does the same kind of thing, but it's a lot faster moving. There was a French movie called La Moustache that came out over the summer - very similar idea but IMO a far better movie than Cache or Funny Games, you might want to check that one too. I like good independent and foreign movies - I guess that's phaggoty around here.
