does chewing gum make anybody else gag?

Okay, I'm sure it has something to do with my esophagus being rotted away from 900 too many Jaeger's, but recently I've noticed that if I chew gum for very long, oliversudden I dry heave. It's kinda wierd. Anybody else ever run across this?
