Let Da Big Dog Eat 40 Posted January 30, 2007 The most effective perscription my Dr. ever gave me cost over $100 for a 16 oz jar. I now use Delon Vitamin E Skin Care Creme. Same 16 oz but at a cost of $1 and it works a ton better. Hardly even get it anymore. I get it at Family Dollar. I've told friends who have eczema about it and they all agree, it's a miracle. And, it's totally non greasy and soaks right in.

Family Dollar is like a Dollar store. They don't even have a pharmacy. BTW, twice a day and itching is history.
Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted January 30, 2007 My son has it really bad due to allergies, so I will take a look. We have all sorts of recommendations from Dr.'s and most of the time, it does not seem to make a difference. We will try just about anything (except for the aforementioned semen). GL and I am sure you know to try it on a small area at first. I have one friend who has it really bad and he is allergic to everything (including his own reflection, he actually looks like Frankenstein). He can't use it everywhere. Says it stings on open sores. Didn't bother me, I think he's a wimp. He does use it elsewhere tho with great success. Hope it helps your son. "We're all in this together, I'm pulling for you." Red Green. Yes, we are extra careful with everything. He is allergic to quite a bit of things (eggs, beef, pork, lamb) so we have to be ready for the worst all of the time. If he's that sensitive, I'd put it on a small area with no eczema first to for a few days to make sure this shiat does not set something else off. Hope I am not insulting you here with the obvious. Hope I am not insulting you here with the obvious. If that insulted me, then I would not last a day in this rat hole. I understand the situation. Believe me, we check the ingredients of everything that gets in contact with him. It is not like he will croak or something, but he does get sick or if he eats it he might have some internal bleeding Really, don't sweat it. We have some experience with this sort of thing. I checked the ingredients and was going to post them for you but they are like a block long in minute text. Sorry. Again, GL, I had 3 kids (now adults) and I know what you feel like when they are in disconfort and you feel you can't help them.
BudBro 182 Posted January 30, 2007 generally, things that appear on your skin are a result of something happening, or not happening i guess, in your liver or kidneys. some physicians call the skin your third kidney. since adding essential fatty acids and a milk thistle extract product to my daily vitamin routine, i have not had any patches. it's worth a shot. worst case is your brain functions better from the efa's and the milk thistle will help your liver if you drink. Jeff Garcia 8 Posted January 30, 2007 There is an inexpensive cure for most everything. The problem is, pharmacautical companies make no money on these. So, they develop somes half-assed remedy that doesn't work, and sell it for a lot of money. Doctors are just stuck in the middle.
BudBro 182 Posted January 30, 2007 {ears perk up} REALLY? there are some nutrition folks who say your liver alone needs 3000mg of vitamin c per day to function properly. that doesn't take into account the rest of your body. does that seem like a lot? to me it does, but your liver has a billion things it does for you. so, if you're a drinker as i am, it's probably a good idea to increase your vitamin c and add a milk thistle extract as a cleansing tool. also, distilled water has a chelating effect and will help remove heavy metals from your liver (it also tastes better than other water).
