Anybody else had major slowdowns in Outlook recently?

Man, it's just slowed to a crawl. I think it pretty much coincided with the last Microsoft Update. I've checked everything I know to check and nada. If this can't be solved, I might just switch to something else.

My Windows Media Player sucks now, runs incredibly slow, since the last update.

Focking thing locked up on me this afternoon

Well so far so good with Thunderbird. Everything got transferred flawlessly and the account settings worked right off the bat. Plus it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster than Outlook has become on my machine. I'll need to work on the calendering extension now but that isn't a big deal for me anyway.
