kozmiq 70 Posted May 29, 2007 That's alot of shiat for 30 people. 1/2 bushel of crabs PER PERSON!!!! My mother is a holier than thou do-gooder. She took a bunch of food to a homeless shelter just 10 minutes ago including 2 bushels of crabs. BTW I don't think any bushel had more than 28 in it. They were so BIG MOFO's! BIG! wiffleball 4,790 Posted May 29, 2007 It is a tip that many homeless people already have crabs... That is a shiitload of crabs for 30 people. I went to a genuine crab deal last year. 'Course, being hosted by cajuns, there was also about 70 lbs of crawfish. Gotta admit, I'm sure it gets easier with repetition, but damn, there's a lot of steps in cracking a crab and getting rid of the 'bad' stuff to get to the good. 'course the crabs we had were a whole lot smaller than the ones you describe. I'm sure it's more worth it with bigger crabs.
TimmySmith 2,782 Posted May 29, 2007 Females. There is no way you paid $200 a bushel for them. Plus the other stuff adds up to about $300 total.

I can pull the key and crack open and separate the shell and pull off the devil's fingers and scrape out the unedible mustard in 15-20 seconds. I usually swish the main meat part in a bucket of water. I'm ready to dip the white meat into cider vinager and dap in Old Bay Seasongs within a half a minute. I almost never eat the claws or legs. One of our guests is a cook at Kevin Grevey's restaurant in Falls Church. He took most of the claws and legs for their crab soup this week.

They were only $ 199.99 And BTW, we don't live in no stinking apartment. http://www.crabplace.com/crabs_live.asp Now read and learn and quit trying to know something that you obviously don't, son.
