Email error question

Recommended Posts

I have my computer back and it seems to be working fine, except my email.

I have outlook 2007 and I get messages just fine, but whenever I try to respond to them, I get this error:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: RE: First pass logos

Sent: 7/8/2007 4:25 PM

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

"emailaddress" on 7/8/2007 4:25 PM

553 http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=67.170.3.97

I go to the link it provides and I still don't understand.

Anyone see this error before? :dunno:

TIA

Sounds like for whatever reason, their email server is reading your email as spam. I don't know if the server recognizes it, or perhaps your recipient has marked your emails as spam and they don't want to get them.

:dunno:

Go to the website it lists, not the actual link; www.spamhaus.org.

Site gives more information than the link you provided does.

I had the same problem with my imported contacts.

Go into your contacts. The email adress will say "emailaddress" but the displayed name is correct.

I had to do a bunch of cut and paste. :dunno:

That's what I thought originally too, but its happeneing on all emails I try to send, not just to one.

Also, I went to that site and it said I have to set up my email with secure authentication, which it is, I do a test send and receive and the send still comes back with an error. It also said on that site I can remove my IP from that list, but because of my previous crash, I'm kind of afraid to do anything right now that I am not sure of.. :P

When my computer crashed, the only thing I couldn't find retrieved was my emails, including contacts (dunno, maybe I'm just not looking in the right file) but considering I don't have any imported contacts, this can't be it. In fact, I have no contacts in there right now. :(

Thanks though.

Probably something real simple in your profile settings. Not using Outlook here at work, can't look for you.
