i get error code p 0133, slow O2 sensor response

 

dodge intrepid, 2004, 2.7 liter edition.

 

 

will my car still run?

will it go away?

do i need a new sensor?

 

 

estimate to replace sensor

I don't have access to AllData at home :(

 

Make sure and bump this monday morning and I'll look up all the info for ya :dunno:

Also, those are notorious for vacuum leaks on the throttle body.

Also, also, notorious for leaks on some of the intake rubber vacuum hoses (cheap fix)

 

Vacuum leaks can trigger that code I believe...once again, bump on monday

also, good thing iam an early bird when it comes to inspections. just had it done the other day when i could have waited till 8/31. in my state, engine light is no pass

Sux, Autostart on a 2007 Chev w/duramax diesel, is this a good idea? Any brand better than another for diesels? TIA

POSSIBLE CAUSES :

Good trip equal to zero

Exhaust leak

O2 signal circuit

O2 return circuit

O2 sensor

 

Approximate cost on an o2 sensor for your intrepid is $95.00

 

I'll try and do some more research when I get a break...Slammed at work right now
