AnaheimRams 28 Posted August 27, 2007 Can only re-drafters play? I have LT going into his second year of a 3 year contract on my auction/contract league. I paid dearly for him, so I will be looking to pair him with a risk/reward back like Travis Henry, Ronnie Brown, Edge, or Ahman Green that I can get on the cheap. Auction is Labor Day weekend... I'm sure you're dying to know how it turns out, so I'll keep you posted.

Me_2006 14 Posted August 27, 2007 Edge or Henry would be nice! If Henry is healthy i would prob give him the nod. Lol, you wont see Henry at the end of the second (or even early second for that matter) in a league that knows anything about FF. Edge is probably a likelyhood, but I think with LT, you can afford to have a lesser RB2 and stack up two stud WRs in rounds 2 and 3. It scares opponents to death to see LT, 2 stud WRs, a solid #2 (you can play matchups if you do what I did) and then a third good WR or a Kitna/McNabb type if they fall to the 6th. Consistency and potential. A good match in my book.
whiteknight 0 Posted August 27, 2007 in my 12 team league, team 1 got LT and on the return he got Brandon Jacobs....personally I tihnk he got a steal there...
AnaheimRams 28 Posted August 27, 2007 Edge or Henry would be nice! If Henry is healthy i would prob give him the nod. Agreed... for sure. But with the news of him coming back to full speed so soon... I doubt I can afford him now. Realistically, I'm looking at Green or Brown... at this point... I think Edge might even be a stretch. Btw... in my 10 team redraft league... the LT owner ended up with Thomas Jones... just FYI. (2nd pick... I have S Jackson and T. Henry).
ScottyFargo 0 Posted August 27, 2007 In my 8 team (pay) league McGahee fell to me so I drafted him, and then I took Adrian Peterson in the 5th. I'm not happy with how I drafted so I am working on trades now. 10 man team (non-pay) I am starting LT and MoJo and have Duece in the swing.

davebg 0 Posted August 28, 2007 I will be drafting at #2 in a 12 teamer. I plan to draft SJax, WR, WR...possibly SJax, QB, WR...depending on how things fall (6pts for all TDs makes QBs a nice high pick.) I figure that I can get RBs like MBIII, JLew, APeterson, Caddy (if I'm so lucky.) The way I see it, if things fall my way I'll get SJax, CPalmer and a WR like RWayne, TO or possibly even Gates (1pt/6yds @TE.) That would give me Tier 1B or 2A players at all three top spots. It's GOLD! Jerry, GOLD! I'm tellin' ya!

waterwolves 0 Posted August 28, 2007 My league is a 12 team league which awards 6 points for passing TD's and starts 3 wr's so I didn't get another RB until the 6th. Instead of pats D I could have gotten D. Williams instead. 1) LT 2) Brees 3)Wayne 4) Driver 5)A. Johnson 6)Lamont 7)Pats D 8)Brandon Jackson

brownsfan2007 0 Posted August 28, 2007 I have a 10 team league and I got Cedric Benson, who's in a run-first offense in Chicago. Being the main back, he'll be good for 20-25 carries a game and 1,000 yards. Hopefully the Bears offensive line can get it together. In other 10 team leagues, I've seen him paired with Brandon Jacobs and Willis McGahee.
cortezthekiller303 0 Posted August 28, 2007 Its funny how many of us LT owners took Duece as well. 12-team league, together for 7 years 1.1 LT 2.12 Harrison 3.1 Duece (for the record, Jacobs was on the board, but I just dont trust the NYG this year) 4.12 Gates (paid the Gates tax, yes I did) 5.1 Javon Walker 6.12 Brandon Jackson 7.1 Jervirous Norwood

enjoi525 0 Posted August 28, 2007 10 teamer start: 1 Qb 2RB 3WR 1TE 1K 1DEF 1. LT 2. Henry 3. Edge 4. Driver 5. Evans 6. D Jax 7. Shockey 8. Hasselbeck 9. Mark Clayton 10. Kitna 11. Kevin Curtis 12. Turner 13. Carolina 14. Stover 15 Dunn I decided to go RB RB RB because I had done a few drafts already and noticed that some good receivers made it back to the turn for the 4th and 5th pick. Plus, I think the drop off from 2nd and 3rd round RBs is greater than the drop off at WR. It would be nice to have one of the more elite recievers but I think my team will do just fine and I like having a better RB core.
Schontak 0 Posted August 28, 2007 12 team league, PPR (start 1RB, 1WR, 2WR/RB flex) team at #1 took: 1.01 L.T. 2.12 Chad Johnson 3.01 Cadillac 4.12 Ward at#2 I took: 1.02 Steven Jackson 2.11 Harrison 3.02 Holt 4.11 Lamont Jordan Given PPR I actually like the way my draft played out better. I have the 1st slot and am killing myself over the situation. Early in the year i was set on going WR/WR on the 2-3 round turn....I'm not so sure now. I like the idea of having 2 top WRs but I don't know.
mlmeloy 0 Posted August 28, 2007 I have LT, but it's not a re-draft league, so I was able to pair him with McGahee. However, in a redraft league you might be able to pair him with Edge or Benson, both of which would be decent options I think. I would personally go RB in round two rather than try to get to tier one WRs. You'll still have decent choices at WR in rounds 4/5 to pick up your 2nd starter. waterwolves 0 Posted August 29, 2007 I think it depends on your draft and the way it goes. Plus the way they score it. I would never even think of going QB in the 2nd round unless it is 6 points for a passing TD. I still wouldn't have gone QB if R. Brown had fallen to me and he almost did. davebg 0 Posted August 29, 2007 I drafted #2 in a 12 team league. I took SJax at 1.2, then Palmer and Wayne in the 2nd & 3rd. I didn't take another RB until the 4th, when I took Jacobs.
