ugadawgs97 0 Posted September 17, 2007 I am off to an 0-2 start and need advice as to whether I need to make significant changes or not. I thought I was going to have a great team this year but didn't score well at all last week and lost by 8 this week. If this were your team, would you start making deals or stay put. I am having a hard time deciding whether I have just had bad luck in the first two weeks or whether my team just isn't that good. We only have 10 regular season games, so I can't wait too long before making some moves.
The Bears Still Suck 0 Posted September 17, 2007 It just looks like it was a rough start for your team, but you should be fine. If you want to make moves, you're pretty deep at WR. You could try and upgrade you're #2 rb (not a fan of benson) or qb. Look for players who are off to a slow start and try and trade for them.
discmonkey 0 Posted September 17, 2007 Don't panic. I have LT also and that sure hurts, but you know he's going to end up with good numbers. Your QBs are servicable and your WRs are solid. You are a little thin at RB, but not too bad. You don't need Droughns and Ward, so maybe you can drop one and pick up some high-risk/high reward kind of guy to stash away until the starter goes down. If anyone is thin at WR you might be able to pawn off Chambers or MacDonald while their stock is high for a safer RB3. At any rate, it's only been 2 weeks. If you end up 0-4, then it's time to panic. Good luck! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=288169
dalie 2 Posted September 17, 2007 I wouldn't do anything at this point if I was you........LT hasn't been the usual LT yet but he has faced 2 of the top 3 or 4 D's in the league and with them out of the way should improve greatly. The rest of your team will be fine too. Mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=288140
Melvinbet 5 Posted September 17, 2007 No panic allowed til week 4. Don't make any blockbuster moves, you have a good team and things should turn around. Please See Mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=288193
cdavidw 0 Posted September 17, 2007 I concur with all so far...Stand pat (or maybe try to upgrade your RB2 but nothing drastic). I too have LT and lost this week - it sucks, but I think your team looks pretty good. Thanks for gettin mine, btw!
Echo52 0 Posted September 17, 2007 If anything, look at upgrading your second runningback, as the others have already mentioned. Possibles ideas include dumping Dunn off to the owner of Norwood(sell the handcuff idea), or something involving the deletion of Benson from your roster. Not a fan of his. That is the only area I would touch. Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=288203
yjojimboo 0 Posted September 17, 2007 I agree...don't do anything drastic. Perhaps put feelers out to see if you can find someone else panicking though and grab a good trade.
