In order for it to be finalized Laxboy has to come in an "confirm" the deal.

 

It would have been no different if I would have emailed CDub and told him what Laxboys offer was.

The Cards thing was more or less a joke, I know I can still field a decent team with them.

 

If it was a three way I obviously wouldnt have pulled out and screwed up a bunch of people, a three way is much more complicated, but its a one on one deal. If the trade officially hasnt gone through yet I really dont see the big deal in holding back if you get a better offer. Im not here to please anyone, Im here to make my team better. Buffalo took until 2-3 am last night to make his pick so Im not too worried about holding this draft up until it has officially began.

I'm not worried about holding this thing up either. Time is really not a worry at all especially with trades that will happen.

 

The worry is who you can trust to make deals with and what happens offline be counted on to be bond. I am all for making my team better too. I'm certainly glad I didn't get stuck with Dallas...boy that team is going to really suck.

I knew that we were going to announce the deal after the first overall pick. I thought I had said something about doing it as long as I didn't receive a better offer...but I guess I didnt say that, I have our emails but I dont remember all what was said and/or confirmed in our IM.

 

Here is what Im going to do...

 

I dont want to be shady on you, nor do I want to step on any feet or make myself come out as untrustworthy on these forums cause I like playing FF here. I'll go through with our deal seeing as it was the original and I had already posted it on the board...its the fair thing to do. I DID tell CDub to make his offer yesterday, and his offer WAS alot better then yours...but I'm the one holding the 1.02, it isnt my job to come to him but him to come to me if he wants it.

Of course it's better, CDub had something to compete with. He didn't seem to compete when there was a notion that he might have to move up to save his player. But once the cards were on the table its easy to ante up or fold.
