shovelheadt 71 Posted October 14, 2007 LMAO! You sound like Mike Hart when he guaranteed a win against Notre Dame. Big focking deal. act like you've been there before
Rae Carruth's Cell Mate 0 Posted October 14, 2007 They're losers too if they can't even cover a 13.5 point spread against a lousy ND team.
Rattlesnake 0 Posted October 14, 2007 I was at the ND/BC game today. BC is no top 5 team. ND easily could've had that one, if not for a couple of ridiculous mistakes/penalties. BC fans walking out were extremely relieved to escape with a W.
Me_2006 14 Posted October 14, 2007 The important thing here, is that Kentucky won. Woodson for Heisman?
ZeroTolerance 584 Posted October 14, 2007 I think we are all losing sight of the important thing: the BCS is in danger of being the biggest losers of all! Oh yeah baby. Nothing brings in ratings like a potential National Championship matchup of Ohio St and Boston College! Or the thrilling prospect of Oklahoma/South Florida? NBC is still kicking themselves for having to show that sorry team.

Biggest joke EVER to crown a "national champion" About time the BCS is seen for the fraud it is.

Any other year, I say no way they knock off both Florida St and Miami.

I'm not sure which game you were watching, but ND's defense played very tough, particularly considering the fact that they were put in so many bad positions yesterday. ND made plays. As for BC's penalties, I agree, the late hits were stupid. I can't believe that 96% of those kids graduate.

Rattlesnake 0 Posted October 14, 2007 Isn't it nice to have a team in the top 5 that actually cares about grades and graduates it's players? Yep, that's what we were saying yesterday. I hate BC in the sense that it's a rivalry, but ND and BC both graduate 96%. It was nice to watch a game involving kids who all go to class, and take actual classes. Not like when USC comes in next week..........

I was watching the game where BC outgained ND 459 to 222. where BC held the ball for 39:03 to ND's 20:57. Where BC rushed for 4.9 yards per attempt while ND had 1.3 yards per attempt. Where BC's passser completed 65% of his passes while ND completed 37% of its passes. The only people who couldn't see that BC was the much better team were Notre Dame homers. I don't think BC will win its next game or is a legitimate top 5 team but they dominated Notre Dame. There are 3 SEC teams that have knocked each other out. Kentucky beat LSU South Carolina beat Kentucky LSU beat South CArolina All those teams have 1 loss. Personally i think LSU is still the best team in the country. They played by different rules than all the teams they always competed against and they still managed to hold their own. Obviously it hasn't gone so well in the 2000's, but they still graduate their players.
