***OFFICIAL*** Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears thread

Recommended Posts

But you're looking for patterns. Unless Detroit turned over their entire team, not to mention their management, this year without me knowing about it past performance does count. Not against their record, but as a best indicator of what hurdles they have to overcome. 2 home wins against division rivals doesn't add up to "consistently" beating other teams in their division. The Lions haven't played the Pack and they haven't played away against a divisional opponent. If we're looking at just this year, then you have to admit that, although they have won one game away, the Lions are 1-2 when not in Detroit. Also, that win was against the worst of the three teams. They still have problems on the road. I'm not knocking the Lions nice start, but I think they have to show us more before one can talk about them doing anything consistently. Maybe winning at home, but let's see what they can do against NY, Dallas and GB first.

does today answer any questions for you

Just got back to the hotel after the game.

It was ugly but 5-2 is 5-2.

Quite a few lions fans tehre making noise.

Bears fans are drunk, ugly, toothless, white trash folks.

That is all.

A pathetic showing across the board.

Briggs, Olsen and Hester were the only ones that played well. The other 51 sucked.

The Lions played well on D, but this was a self inflicted loss - stupid penaltys, turnovers, errant throws, dropped passes and even a missed FG - An absolute embarassment to get sewpt by the Lions.

Maybe spend a little more on your tickets or perhaps you belong in the "drunk, ugly, toothless, white trash" section of the stadium.

yeah, and the bears "self-inflicted" giving up 34 points in the 4th quarter a couple of weeks ago. stop being a sore loser. the lions are a better team, a superior team to the bears this year. deal :pointstosky:

I guess it's a little bit encouraging for the Lions, but you'll notice I didn't mention the Bears on my list of teams for them to beat on the road. I was hoping for a Bears win, so the Pack would have a bigger lead in the North.
