hellothere 1 Posted November 5, 2007 CBS Sportsline Link ESPN Link A vast majority of the Aggies are happy to see him go. Lots of names being floated as to who the next coach will be, but it seems unlikely B.Burne (AD) would have let him go without some backwater talk with canidates. We will be a lot better (not difficult) if we bring in anyone of worth. Its about time
wiffleball 4,797 Posted November 5, 2007 Selling 4-figure 'subscriptions' to his 'newsletter' where he revealed the health of his own players ahead of time - and bragging that even the media doesn't have this information' may have been one of the shadiest - and dumbest - things I"ve ever seen a college coach do. - Except for Woody Hayes throat punching an opposing player. Really wish Woody would've gotten the beat-down of his (short remaining alheimer's riddled) life for that stunt.
wiffleball 4,797 Posted November 5, 2007 Now, if they could just bring in someone who knew how to stack logs....

Completely agree. However, it worked in our (Aggie) favor as it gave our AD no excuse not to get rid of him. He has done diddly since he got here, and made many a bad decision and gotten destroyed in all the bowl games.
GettnHuge 2 Posted November 5, 2007 I heard recently 'round Arkansas they refer to Houston Nutt backers as Nut-huggers and the peeps who think he should go are called Dark-siders.

IMO, A&M would be a step down for those guys....especially Bellotti. Leavitt is a good candidate. I also think Navy's HC Paul Johsnon would be a good fit. Mungwater 601 Posted November 6, 2007 You can also take Tuberville off that list too, he has something like a 7mil buyout.
