No worries, and here's why:

 

Global warming is a phucking fraud, a scam, perpetretrated by evil scientists as a scheme to acquire riches in the form of grant money. This movement is supported by the Democrat party, as they want to use is as an excuse to raise taxes and take more of what's yours and mine. These phucks know no shame and will invent all kinds of lies and call them "facts" or "data" or "peer-reviewed studies." When that's debunked, they'll just take advantage of the vast numbers of people involved in this conspiracy and claim that they have a "global consensus" on the matter, in order to stifle debate.

 

Seeing as how this is all just a BS plot from the crackpot brain of Al Gore, you really have nothing to worry about.

The warming won't be the problem, it's the Ice Age that follows. The gulf stream is what distributes the heat from the equator to the rest of the world. The last ice age occured when global warming caused North American to melt. (Canada was covered in glaziers much like Greenland is today).

 

The gulf stream loops in this area. The melting ice caused the gulf stream to stop. Once it stopped distributing the heat from the equator the Earth went into an ice age.

 

Now we have Greenland in a simular spot and it's melting much faster than projected. It is feared that it could have the same effect. There are other factors, but that's the meat of the threat.
