buffalobillsffl2003 0 Posted April 24, 2008 I think one of the third picks was traded to Jacksonville for Marcus Stroud. The names that have been thrown about are: Devin Thomas, Limas Sweed, Keith Rivers, Dominique Rogers Fawnsworth Worthington Cromartie and Leonidaser McKelvin. markblaz 0 Posted April 24, 2008 i definately want a WR, but i dont think the 11th pick is the place for it. i like sweed the best, then thomas, then malcolm kelly, i really think theres a good chance one of them falls to us in the 2nd round. as for the first round i keep changing my mind between CB or a defensive lineman, guess it depends who falls there
buffalobillsffl2003 0 Posted April 25, 2008 Maybe trade down?
listen2me 23 1,546 Posted April 25, 2008 I'd trade 5-10 picks and draft Devin Thomas. I really like this kid. 2nd round they can pick up a CB like Justin King from Penn State or CB/S Reggie Smith from Oklahoma. I'd definatly trade down to get an extra 3rd or 4th. Unless they really like Cromartie or Mckelvin and one is there.

Quickolas1 80 Posted April 26, 2008 i think the bills will take mckelvin if he's there otherwise, they'll try to trade down the wr's are for the most part, inter-changeable

lechuza 0 Posted April 26, 2008 I wanted McKelvin all along and I am extremely happy with this pick. Now best available WR in the 2nd or trade up a few spots and take a WR
lechuza 0 Posted April 26, 2008 gotta love how all the WRs are falling

cmh6476 757 Posted April 26, 2008 i like this hardy pick should be an immediate legititimate threat opposite Evans.
Tusekan Raiders 0 Posted April 26, 2008 Nice pick with Hardy. He's a Plaxesque physical specimen and he ran faster than expected at the Combine. I thought he'd go in the first and might be the best overall WR prospect in this class.
Quickolas1 80 Posted April 26, 2008 leodis mckelvin and james hardy couldnt be happier with filling the CB/WR needs
buffalobillsffl2003 0 Posted April 27, 2008 I like both selections. They hit the two positions of need, CB and WR. Maybe they'll have a red zone threat with the WR. Great pick there perhaps, and a possible quality complement to Evans. They need a guy who can get them first downs. I thought McKelvin would go to the Saints or Pats, so, good pick there too. Who for the 3rd round?
listen2me 23 1,546 Posted April 27, 2008 Very good start for the Bills. They didn't reach for a WR at 11 and still got a very good one in the 2nd.
Quickolas1 80 Posted April 27, 2008 9 (72) Buffalo Bills Chris Ellis DE Virginia Tech There were times when folks thought Ellis could go as high as the first round. He fits well for the Bills, who like to shift around their pass rushers. Ellis can be used as a DE/OLB, but is best with his hand on the ground.
