Favre will report to camp and apply for reinstatement today..

Recommended Posts

as for moss..I think a lot of that stems from just wanting to see it...i wasnt in FF last year, so it wasnt that..I guess it was the thought of seeing favre and moss ham it up..moss light up minny etc..but I admit..seeing how moss has given up in the past, he and favre couldve both shut it down in the bears game..since moss wouldnt have been guarding plaxico, it may not have helped a ton...they wouldnt have had a record breaking season..as they wouldnt have run the score up as often as NE did..nor did they cheat..but the games wouldve been different..driver moss and jennings is a scary trio..

favre has handled it poorly..but so have the packers..maybe with harlan, it wouldnt have dragged on this long..a lot of fans here have turned their backs on brett..very few players deserve special treatment..favre is one..

tt has been good with late picks but yeah, im judging harrell and hodge already and both are pretty much on their way out..itll be interesting to see how the jennings and jones types do without favre in there to throw tight passes..

my cheering for aaron isnt aimed at aaron..i like him..good guy..its for TTs and mikes ears..

in reality..heres whats likely to happen..favre accepts the backup role..aaron goes out there..sprains his vag-i-na..and brett HAS to go in...team doesnt miss a beat..team asks favre on nov 1 to start deciding what he will do next year..start early so they can have an answer by march...

gb beats seattle with 4 favre td passes and i get p1ssed wondering why i didnt wish for aaron to be in there...

I love how 2nd year guys are on their way out.

Hodge I can see...but he was a 3rd rounder and just cannot keep those knees healthy.

Harrell...if he comes back this year could be just fine.

Im telling you...that is one tough SOB and when healthy he is a beast.

He played his last game vs. the Univ. of Florida with that torn muscle in his arm. Because he wanted to play against the Gators.

I just want it resolved...so I know if I need to replace my #4 jersey I have had since 93 with a custom made #77 Tony Mandarich.

whats a myth? I didnt say he gave any money back...I just said he was willing to redo his contracta bit to help bring in moss...

I'm sure they had to twist his arm and all. he gets the same money either way. what a daring move on his part

Nice wasted draft picks by the dumb and dumber packers GM and coach

Aaron Rodgers - when your 1st round pick sits on the bench for 3 years, that is terrible drafting. Especially when you waste another 2nd round pick on:

Brian Brohm - see above

Brandon Jackson - wasted 2nd round pick

Harrell - wasted, injured 1st round pick

Was carroll also a wasted 1st rounder by these incompetent goofs?

The records don't lie.

Your the one who posted that nonsense, not me.

Sugar coat it however you like, but the Jest sucked azz last year.

"If things break right". Really? If your aunt had balls she'd also be your uncle.

Who are the Jets gonna beat out to make the playoffs this season? Patriots, Chargers, Browns, Jags?

I'll tell you one thing, the 8-8 Eagles looked better than 4-12. :bandana:

Considering 6 teams makes the playoffs, I guess in theory they wouldn't have to beat out any of those teams and still get in. Personally I see the Browns taking a step back (check out their schedule and second half splits from last season), but even if I'm wrong about that I can see anyone of the following teams realistically in contention for the wildcard: Browns, Jags (or Colts), Houston, Buffalo, Jets and who knows what other teams step up.

Aren't you contradicting yourself by dismissing the 5 playoff appearances in 9 years by poiting to the non-playoff yaers but then using last season's down year to show they can't make it this year? Doesn't that in itself tell you the fluid nature of the NFL. Doesn't off season activity play any role into it or should we just look at last season?

I have news for you; 8-8 gets you the same place as 4-12.

Thanks for proving again what an ignorant tool you are.

When you first pick sits for 3 years...its called grooming a replacement. Its one way to find a starting QB and has been used quite often.

Steve McNair did not start right away, nor did Carson Palmer, nor did several other QBs who have turned out to do quite well in this league.

Brohm...gives them long term insurance with a QB that has had some injuries. The jury is out on whether either of these were wasted picks...right now...it is quite idiotic to say they are wasted.

Jackson...he is going into his 2nd year. He was raw and not good to start the year...he improved and played much better his last few games.

Harrell...again, going into his 2nd year. I guess every single Bears player ever drafted was a stud right in his rookie year huh? Hah!!!!!!!! How many QBs and RBs have the Bears been through? How about WRs? As a Bears fan, you have no room to bash the drafts of the Packers.

And no, Carroll was not a draft pick of the current administration.

Don't feed the troll! (Sweetness)

Seriously, any Bear fan knows not to play the "your team drafted terrible card". They live in a glass house and know it. Sweetness wastes hours ragging on the Packers and every move they make. Worth repeating: Don't feed the troll!

What they did 4 years ago has no bearing on what they're gonna do in 2008. If that rationale were the case, the Eagles would be Super Bowl contenders this year, correct?

The Jets are no better than the Bills, which would make them 3rd best in their own division. Given that the Patriots have one of the easiest schedules ever in the history of the NFL this season, that doesn't say much for the rest of their division now, does it?

So you're saying that all the non-playoff teams from last year are on par with each. So that means they're all the same as the Dolphins?

M-kay.

BTW, don't see the Jets winning more than 7 games next year. Don't think that gets them in the playoffs.
