jared7683 0 Posted November 28, 2008 I have Barber...obviously w/ his toe, I am a little concerned, and w/ his playoff schedule... I asked this before, but would you guys target someone like Steven Jackson?? Players like Gore and Portis are on non playoff teams, which now we cannot trade w/.. help...????!!!???? I also have a bye week next week for the playoffs...So I can afford to wait for either Barber or SJAX to get healthy if necessary... So do I go w/ Barber vs. NYG and BALT over SJAX vs Seattle and SF
LandenChase 0 Posted November 28, 2008 I just dont know how healthy SJax is. I like his playoff schedule, but it appears that MB3's toe is fine. His schedule is tough, but I think he will still be a big part of a potent offense. I would stay with Barber.
Maxx Dread 1 Posted November 29, 2008 I'd stick with Barber over Steven Jackson. If you can get him cheap go for it, it's possible he makes a comeback for the playoffs, but I'd hold onto Barber as he's more reliable at this point.
rickap7 0 Posted November 29, 2008 stick with MB3 he is a beast. Toe or no toe he will play and play well against anyone they play. SJax is a injury problem plus they are done so you never know they might just shut him down and wait til next year. MB3 Thanks for the reply to mine.
smartgenius 0 Posted November 29, 2008 Tough call, but have you seen the Rams? They may be the worst team in the league--WORSE than both SF and Seattle. I would go with the healthy Barber... bgard72 10 Posted November 29, 2008 I have Barber...and would never consider trading him for Steven Jackson. Barber should be fine...if anything, maybe he misses the game against the Steelers.
Djurynk 0 Posted November 29, 2008 THANKS for mine. I 2 have Barber and selected him with my first pick and WILL play him against everybody. I would NOT trade him for SJ no-way not matter what. ROMO throwing well with a number of weapons will put barber on the goaline at least four times a game he will score, the rams are way too poor a team for SJ to be consistent.
