I also traded MJD for Aaron Rodgers. That would be a wash, but I acquired Rodgers the week before Matt Schaub (my other QB at the time) went down with an injury. If I didn't pick up Rodgers I would have been left with Gus Frerotte as my starter, so it was a deal that has paid off quite well for me. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
CookieG 4 Posted December 1, 2008 Dealt Grant & Steve Smith for Westbrook to try and take advantage of the Eagles matchup with Cincy a couple weeks ago. It FAILED miserably and barring a miracle, i'll be out of the post seaon in my best $ league for the first time in 5 seasons. That said, with Westy's Turkey Day explosion.. I now have a great shot at out total points race and a 25% share of a big pot. So this deal has worked out very well for me.. in a pretty weird way. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

And my waiver wire pickup, Matt Schaub, also went out. Wound up getting Bernard Berrian and Santonio Holmes off of the waiver wire (both were hurt at the time). I traded royal and Tony Gonzalez early in the season for a slumping Braylon Edwards and Darren McFadden...and i traded Steve Slaton for a freshly injured Reggie Bush. rotisserieking 82 Posted December 2, 2008 Week 4 I traded Julius Jones and Muhsin Muhammad and received MJD and Wes Welker...in a PPR league. I was 2-2 at the time. Now am 9-4, solid 2nd place and highest scoring team in the league. But this was the year of the non-trades for me. Throughout the season I tried multiple times (in different leagues) to get Plaxico, Earnest Graham, Hightower, MBIII and had offered up Boldin, Welker, Ronnie Brown, MJD, Brees, and Westbrook. mvgoatboy 0 Posted December 2, 2008 I got Cassel, T.Edwards (Keeper 3 years), J.Stewart (Keeper 3 years), and Reggie Wayne and gave up Matt Forte (Keeper 3 years), Carson Palmer (the week before he stopped playing), Roy Williams, and Matt Leinhart...
