jgcrawfish 232 Posted September 2, 2009 I'm in a deep dynasty league. My team sucks, but I'm getting trade offers right and left...it's a PPR league and my only real players of value are: Marshawn Lynch Eddie Royal Jonathan Stewart LeSean McCoy James Davis Anyway, I got the following offer: Thomas Jones RB, NYJ Bernard Berrian WR, MIN Darrius Heyward-Bey WR, OAK Jeremy Maclin WR, PHI Shonn Greene RB, NYJ for Lynch Royal I've pretty much viewed Royal as untouchable on my roster but now I'm not sure. What do you guys think? Oddly, the dude that is offering me also has DeAngelo Williams, and I thought about countering to see if I could swap him Stewart for either McFadden or a draft pick so he could lock the Carolina backfield. Seems to me that I would have a better roster with: Jones/Shonn Green LeSean McCoy James Davis McFadden or draft pick...

swirvenirvin 25 Posted September 2, 2009 No way for me I'm sold on any of those rookies. Not in dynasty leagues so not really sure but I wouldn't do it
RLLD 4,215 Posted September 2, 2009 Good trade. Royal as "untouchable" does not hold water, he will be lucky to get anywhere near last years production on that train wreck of a team.
jgcrawfish 232 Posted September 3, 2009 update... To balance thins out, I traded away: Nate Burleson WR, SEA Marshawn Lynch RB, BUF Chansi Stuckey WR, NYJ Jonathan Stewart RB, CAR Eddie Royal WR, DEN I got in return: Thomas Jones RB, NYJ Bernard Berrian WR, MIN Darrius Heyward-Bey WR, OAK Jeremy Maclin WR, PHI Shonn Greene RB, NYJ 2010 Draft, Rnd 1 I go from RB roster of: Willis McGahee Mike Bell Marshawn Lynch Jonathan Stewart Justin Forsett LeSean McCoy James Davis To: Willis McGahee Mike Bell Thomas Jones Shonn Green Justin Forsett LeSean McCoy James Davis That's pretty crappy right now, but I'll likely end up with 3 picks in the top 15 or so next year, so maybe I can stock up then. I got McCoy and Davis this year.
