Deuce Blue 0 Posted October 23, 2009 I'm 1-5 right now. Although my team is strong I'm the "guy" who runs up against everyone's best week ever. Top teams in the league are 4-2 and a bunch at 3-3, so I'm still in the running (8 out of 12 teams make the playoffs) I have great depth at RB and actually look pretty good at WR but with Q's status going forward I would like a good WR1. At RB I have: D Williams L Tomlinson C Benson ® L Maroney ® L Washington ® T Choice ® At WR I have: A Collie K Walter L Moore A Boldin ® D Mason ® M Sims-Walker ® The guy I want to trade with is hurting at RB: B Jacobs H Evans A Bradshaw ® C Johnson ® At WR he has: V Jackson B Berrian ® D Hester ® J Maclin ® I know he wants a RB but I really don't want to give up Benson,DWill or LT. Anybody see a damn interesting package I could put together here. I would love to give him Maroney(as I'm sure he is at his peak of worth right now) and throw in a WR or something... Anybody have any crafty idea's OR Should I just leave well enough alone and stick with what I have???? He just emailed me and wants Benson for Jackson straight up... The deal of Benson for VJax really isn't bad. You'd still have DWill and LT as your starters with Maroney as a now-solid backup. You could consider doing "the squeeze", squeeze a bit more out of the deal to your advantage, such as adding Choice for Bradshaw as part of the deal. jerryskids 7,104 Posted October 23, 2009 I know you said you are 1-5, but his team is the suckiest fantasy team I've ever seen. Did he not have a pick in the first 5 rounds? Anyway, I'm not big on LT, so IMO you'd be giving up a starter in Benson for VJax. As noted above, on paper that seems pretty fair. Go for it if you want to shake things up. Cretins 22 Posted October 24, 2009 As a VJax player that has received a couple of low ball offers for him, I'd say that you need to throw in someone like Benson. No way would I accept Maroney who's has had a single decent game on a team that rotates their RBs as much as NE does. VJax has become my #1 WR over schmucks like Steve Smith (Car), and if you're not going to offer me someone that I'm going to start every week, I'm simply not interested. From there situational considerations can come in as well (for example I have MBIII, so Choice *might* have worked while MBIII was out, but still not likely). Wow, this board is something else. Not only is it riddled with blatant WSIS/WSIT questions, but now some of them like this aren't even specific. So basically what you're saying is that you're too lazy to come up with your own trade ideas. Take this bullsh!t to the A Little Help board or figure it out for yourself.
