dma1 0 Posted November 22, 2012 I am in a 14 team PPR and I am tied for first at 7-4. I am having troubke with my rbs. Need to pick two: 1. Charles-great player on awful team and with Quinn starting and the way Broncos D has been playing may not get a lot out of him his points per game have not been great 2. Reece-If DMC does not play he is a no brainer start 3. Bryce Brown- with McCoy unlikely to play this week will get bulk of work against a weak Panthers run D but he is still unproven 4. Hillman-he could be my long term solution but not sure where Lance Ball fits into mix and who gets goal line work 5. Paramlee- one week fill in with MJD due back soon has a good matchup with Tenn but again unproven and with henne will they throw more Thanks for the help and Happy Thanksgiving! tikigods 76 Posted November 22, 2012 Non ppr Edelmen or Lloyd or Broyles Ridley or Lynch? Lloyd. He will see a huge increase in production now that Gronk is gone. Both Lloyd and Welker are good plays. Not sold on Edelmen. Ridley against the Jets. Jets have one of the worst run defenses in the league.

I would definitely go with Charles. He is the entire offense in KC. Second pick would be Reece. Even if Run DMC plays, he is coming off an injury and may not get many snaps. See Jordy Nelson. Good luck, bro.
tikigods 76 Posted November 22, 2012 See my QB and flex dilemma http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=413217 Standard scoring, not ppr Thanks 1. QB RG3 v. Cowboys Ryan v. TB I got it wrong last week playing Ryan and sitting RG3. But Tampa is 3rd worse against the pass and Dallas is 5th best. Plus Romo is 5-0 on Thanksgiving. Who would you go with. I'm playing RGIII this week. Nationally televised game against a Dallas team that can't run the ball. Washington's game plan is to keep the Dallas offense off the field. They are going to have a big day on the ground with Morris and RGIII. 2. Flex Andre Brown v. Packers Last 4 games 8, 8, 8, and 14 pts. Bradshaw limited again in practice, but plays every week Shonn Greene v. Pats; only 6 points last week. Powell got the two goal line runs. Coach said he likes committee. His last 4 games, 34, 14, 9 and 5. The 14 was against the Pats in NE, this game is home. Torrey Smith v. Chargers Last 4 games, 4, 10, 18 and 0. Chargers Defense is not so hot James Jones v. Giansts Last 4 games,5, 17, 12 and 3 James Jones. Giants have one of the worst pass defenses in the league. Not sure why you think SD is so bad, they rank in the top of the league defensively. ric0 20 Posted November 22, 2012 Standard scoring. Options at WR recommend one: Julio dealing with ankle issues Fitz QB woes Options at RB, recommend two: Beanie first start coming off of IR against 19th ranked run defense Andre Brown goal line specialist and getting more carries from Bradshaw Dwyer looking at a continued timeshare at Cleveland Bryce Brown gamble for a start on Monday night
tikigods 76 Posted November 22, 2012 Standard scoring. Options at WR recommend one: Julio dealing with ankle issues Fitz QB woes Fitzgerald if Julio doesn't play. Here is my reasoning: Fitz is pretty much the only option. Andre Roberts is decent but won't get as many looks now that QB's have changed. Julio is hurt and gets vultured by White and Gonzo. Options at RB, recommend two:Beanie first start coming off of IR against 19th ranked run defense Andre Brown goal line specialist and getting more carries from Bradshaw Dwyer looking at a continued timeshare at Cleveland Bryce Brown gamble for a start on Monday night We have no background on Brown but we do know that Foles isn't very good and neither is that offensive line. Even when McCoy was there they didn't give him the ball despite being their best offensive weapon. Wells should be good to go. He maybe worth a look. I like Brown a lot and would definitely start him. Dwyer could be your darkhorse. I really like him this week against Cleveland and with Batch filling in. You know Todd Haley is going to put the ball in his hands and keep it out of Charlie's. My picks would be Brown and Dwyer.
tikigods 76 Posted November 23, 2012 Thoughts on Thanksgiving Day match ups: Houston at Detroit: Over/Under 49; Houston -3 I always look at the over/under in these games. I want to get an idea of how many points they're predicting will be scored and then trying to figure out who is going to score them. Schaub will have a big day. Foster will have a big day. The Lion's run defense is porous and overagressive. They're also lacking pressure on QBs. I like Houston by four. 27-23. Big day early in the passing game for Houston. Big day late in the run game. Washington at Dallas: Over/Under 48; Dallas -3.5 Growing up, I always loved this game. Skins v. Boys. My dad was a diehard Skins fan. I rooted for the Patriots. I'm also 40 so I'm not a bandwagoneer of the Pats. The Redskins orginated in Boston and played some of their home games at Fenway. Ok...this game comes down to who can run the ball more effectively. Murray is doubtful and the Cowboys offensive line is terrible. With that said, Washington's defensive backs are equally as bad. Romo should have time to scan the field and find Bryant. I see Dez having a huge day. I see Austin having an equally good day. I also like RGIII if he gets going early. Who he throws to will be a mystery. I'll say Moss. Put your money on the Redskins run game. I could and probably will control the game and keep Dallas' offense on the sidelines. Skins 31 - Boys 28 Patriots at Jets: Over/Under 48.5; New England -7 Jets played the Pats tough last time. Sanchez looked like a polished turd. Fact is: He is a turd. The Jets secondary has nothing left. Brady is just getting warmed up. Gronk or no Gronk, they have plenty of weapons to score at will on the Jets. Talib has added a whole new dimension to the Patriots secondary, that had more holes than the Iraqi Navy. It moves McCourty to safety, where he seems to play better when his eyes are on the ball. Patriots defense could be the high scorers again this week. Look for Welker to wake up and Shianco to make an impact. I like a big day for Brandon Lloyd. Patriots 38 - Jets 17 Not bad. ilikefruitpunch 0 Posted November 23, 2012 Need RB and flex help. Which two running backs would you start: M. Forte S. Jackson Bryce Brown (also have L. McCoy) D. Sproles For the flex I can start any of the above backs or D. Moore or D. Alexander (one of those two will also start at WR) Also, do you think it is worth dropping Roethlisberger for Kaepernick for this week only, and start him over Palmer? Thanks for the help. utvol5 0 Posted November 27, 2012 NEED HELP In our 10 Team Keeper league we cannot go into the play offs with any players on injured reserve. With that said, we are allowed to have 2 keepers and also keep 1 Rookie (if you have one on your roster). My issue is that I have 6 RB's (this includes the RB's that are on IR)and I can only keep 4 on the roster for the play offs that start this week. Which 4 RB's would you keep and take in consideration that Daryl Richardson is a Rookie and my be the RB1 for the Rams next year. I can only have 4 on the roster. Fred Jackson Ballard M Reece L. tikigods 76 Posted November 28, 2012 Ppr need 1, possibly 2 if harvin does not play. Broyles alexander hilton s moss Maclin *white starting* Love Hilton. I actually drafted him and stashed him away. He and Luck have a special chemistry on the field. Hilton is a burner and gets a lot of targets. Broyles looked great on Thanksgiving. Titus Young's suspension and the extra coverage CJ gets makes him get the targets. 1. Hilton 2. Broyles (if needed) Good luck, brah.

tikigods 76 Posted November 29, 2012 PPR league. Who do you like going forward: Broyles, Antonio Brown or Garcon? Dude...I'm really high on Broyles. Titus Young may have punched his ticket out of MoTown. Broyles showed he was legit. Brown has no consistent QB. Injury prone. Garcon has upside but I think he is overpaid and on a team that is going to run more than throw. Plus there are too many other receiving options in DC.
