DanXIII 8 Posted February 7, 2011 Saw this deal on gotapex.com: http://www.gotapex.com/deals/redirect/62761/T5LJFKRK/ Bowflex Extreme SE Home Gym - normally $1,299.00 plus $129.00 shipping Today if you use code W8HFSE2A in the coupon code section at checkout you get $800.00 off with free shipping for a final price of $499.00. Seems like a good deal, but is it just another POS weight machine that doesn't work as advertised and will wind up being used as a coat rack?

You saw the deal...you wouldn't happen to work for Bowflex and get a commission when anyone enters in that code....
cyclone24 1,913 Posted February 7, 2011 Not a chance i would buy one of those. 1) You need a gym membership.....if its in your home its too easy to just say 'Well its right here i can use it whenever"....most people end up not using it. A gym membership is good to get away...you just have to make it routine to go to every night or day. 2) Also.....its hard to change your workout too much from that. Different weights but basically the same movements. You body gets used to it and that not the best for growth. Having said that....thats pretty good price considering. parrot 789 Posted February 7, 2011 I have a Bowflex I picked up second-hand from a friend. I don't even know what the model is. It's a decent workout workout.
Cstriker 2 Posted February 7, 2011 go to beachbody.com and pick any one of their workouts. They are very good at getting people into shape, provided your diet is relatively good.

The Moz 69 Posted February 8, 2011 150 bucks for p90X dvd's 100 bucks for some weights and a door frame pull up bar. Do p90X for 9 weeks and it will blow away anything you would ever get out of Bowflex at a MUCH cheaper cost. I had both soloflex and other at home workout things. Had a gym membership etc. Granted I only lasted 6 or 7 weeks doing p90X consistely I never had such intense results from any workout. It just takes 1hr to 1 1/2 hours a day. All these 15 minute workout things are BS you want to really get into great shape thats the way to do it.
