WSIS - Gore or Beson

Standard scoring plus PPR (.5). Last week GORE got me 7.5 while BENSON sat on my bench and racked up 18.5.

 

This week Gore plays Dallas who didn't give up much run last week vs. the Jets, but they didn't try much either.

 

Benson plays Denver.

 

I'm a big Cowboys fan, so I don't want to look at this through my biased eyes, but my thought is to start Benson.

Benson isn't a bad play against Denver, but I would start my stud and let regression to the mean do its work.

I see Benson at about 90 yards with a chance of falling into the end zone. Gore may only rack up 60 yards on the ground but he will catch some passes and pick up receiving yards, and he has about as good of a chance as Benson of getting a td. Play Gore.

In a PPR I think Gore gets the call here due to his versatility. Benson has a good matchup but Gore can rack up more combined yds plus catches.

In a PPR league you've got to start Gore over Benson. Also I think Benson has a good week here too, so I'd look to sell high on him to some owner with WR depth after this week. Get what you can now, because Cincy is a mess and won't be much good later on this season.

BENSON...i know it hard to sit gore but u gotta go benson this week. the cowboys will shut down the 49er run game because that is really the main firing option. i am a raider fan so no bias here. go benson and win
