I have been offered Chris Johnson and Denaruis Moore (throw in) for Best and Mike Williams. I dont like having 3 Lions - should I make this trade?? Thanks for your thoughts in advance!

You have to ask yourself if CJ is going to stink it up all year or if this is temporary and due to his holdout. I lean towards temporary issue, so I would do this.

 

At worst you still have Blount and Felix. At best you have a potential huge upgrade at RB, versus downgrade at WR4. I'd do it.

I think you need to trade so you can add Pettigrew, Burleson, Titus Young, Jason Hanson, and maybe Shaun Hill.

I know it seems risky cuz of his slow start, but CJ has a long track record of doing well and he is still young.

 

from a roster perspective, you can afford to give up Mike williams as he likely isnt even a starter on your team.

 

I'd make the deal. I know there is a chance this could hurt you, but it is also a deal that could potentially put you over the top if CJ returns to form. I suspect it's just a slow start due to his sitting out of training camp. Go for it and let the chips fall where they may.

Too bad some of the posters really didn't give you good insight. So, hopefully I can. I don't think Danarius is a "throw in". In fact, I like him better than Williams straight up. I am not a fan of his, and think he is hitting that inevitable "sophomore slump". Moore's playmaking ability and upside outshines Williams by a ton. And, Best can't hold the toilet paper for CJ2K....ALTHOUGH, Johnson is a risk right now. Hopefully a light will turn on and Chris will play to his potential, but missing all of training camp, and the fact that the Titans are throwing more, do scare me. You have the depth to pull this off in the case it does potentially backfire, but the upside and reward far more outweighs that of the risk. Good Luck!!!!
