ramblin'wreck 0 Posted October 5, 2011 been keeping him since week 1. If his injury does not get better soon, I will need to drop him and pick up other players for bye weeks.
msinn 1 Posted October 5, 2011 Has Fred Taylor 2001 written all over it. Physically the injury was not as severe, but from a FF analogy perspective...
Axe Elf 0 Posted October 5, 2011 He tried to practice the week before their last game, and ended up with swelling in his dislocated elbow. Now he is considering surgery. If he foregoes the surgery, he could potentially try to return after their bye--but who knows how effective he will be, especially if the injury keeps flaring up. On the other hand, if he opts for surgery, who knows how much longer he will be out. On the other hand, the Rams do have three favorable matchups in their next four games after the bye. If you've held him this long, you might hold him through their bye and see what happens, but any optimism should be guarded.
RicemanX 20 Posted October 5, 2011 The Rams homers are raving about Austin Pettis if Amendola is out for the season.
Fantasy Noob 10 Posted October 5, 2011 ESPN claimed he recently injured his triceps not re-injured elbow. They guesstimate week 6 after bye.
Bui 1 Posted October 5, 2011 Rotoworld is reporting that he's done for the season.

Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted October 5, 2011 Torn tricep. D-U-N. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/215566/report-danny-amendola-done-for-the-season
Kilroy 0 Posted October 5, 2011 This is from Adam Caplan's Twitter account: I'm told Rams KR/WR/PR Danny Amendola (dislocated elbow/torn triceps) is expected to miss the rest of the season.
montana 89 Posted October 5, 2011 Just dropped him yesterday.
Matt Mueller 146 Posted October 5, 2011 This report is up on rotoworld too: 'Adam Caplan of TheSidelineView.com reports that Danny Amendola will miss the rest of the 2011 season with a torn triceps muscle. The Rams will continue to mix and match at receiver. Amendola went for a second opinion on his elbow/triceps injury Wednesday, and it apparently confirmed the muscle tear. Caplan doesn't know whether Amendola will require surgery, but it's probably a good bet that he will. Rookie Austin Pettis has been working as St. Louis' slot receiver for the past two games, managing six catches for 40 yards. Fellow rookie Greg Salas was tried in the role Weeks 1-2, but flopped badly and has since been deactivated on game days.' Well I DID need a bye week TE.
