nzoner 939 Posted October 10, 2011 He is not discussing his injury which makes me think it could be bad. The hit didn't look good at all,as an owner I'm just hoping he remained out because the game was well over.
RicemanX 20 Posted October 10, 2011 He is not discussing his injury which makes me think it could be bad. Yea, I am pretty concerned about the fact that they aren't even saying anything about it...like they didn't want to stack more bad news on after a bad loss. Was he down on the field for any length of time? Did he walk off under his own power?
RicemanX 20 Posted October 10, 2011 Did not see the game. Was he down on the field for any length of time? Did he walk off under his own power? I didn't see what happened immediately after. But they showed him on the sideline a lot during the 4th Q and he was sitting down the whole time, didn't see him stand up, didn't see him walk around. The fact that they didn't take him in the locker room pretty much means whatever damage has already been done. Just hope it's just a giant bruise.
mobb_deep 921 Posted October 10, 2011 Are LeWanda Blount and Brenda Jacobs long lost sisters? Inquiring minds want to know.
jdon 28 Posted October 10, 2011 Are LeWanda Blount and Brenda Jacobs long lost sisters? Inquiring minds want to know. now that is funny. I just traded freaking dez bryant for blount and this is how i get rewarded? I should have known better!
nzoner 939 Posted October 10, 2011 Did not see the game. Was he down on the field for any length of time? Did he walk off under his own power? Not on the field for long at all,in fact I turned my attention to another game and when I looked back the game was resuming. The hit was really more of Blount tripping over a defender who was on the ground but it upended him and didn't look good.Sorry can't be more help but I was having a bad day in all 3 of my FF leagues. nzoner 939 Posted October 10, 2011 Coach Raheem Morris confirmed Monday that LeGarrette Blount has an injured left knee, but wouldn't specify how long Blount may be out. Morris apparently plans to wait until Wednesday's participation report is released before providing any disclosure. Fantasy owners need to be prepared to not have Blount available in Week 6 against the Saints, because the injury was severe enough that he couldn't return to Sunday's loss. Earnest Graham, Kregg Lumpkin, and rookie Allen Bradford are next on the depth chart.
SNZ11 5 Posted October 11, 2011 Bucs coach Raheem Morris hinted Monday that he doesn't anticipate LeGarrette Blount (knee) playing Sunday against the Saints. "I don't want to rule (Blount) out, but I'm not looking at him. It is what it is. Next man up," said Morris. "I'd like to get more detailed information on him. I'll call him day-to-day for now." The St. Petersburg Times expects Earnest Graham to receive "a bulk of the carries" against New Orleans, with Kregg Lumpkin and Allen Bradford also in the mix for work. GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted October 11, 2011 You've got to be kidding me. Right when I thought I righted the original 0-3 ship back to it's championship form.
GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted October 11, 2011 Well, my rough draft thinking on this problem ( problem since I had Blount penciled in the week 6 starting lineup) is to just drop Blount outright for Ghram. No need in holding on to extra baggage. Obviously if positive news comes out, I won't do this. But, right now, I think just unloading Blount is the answer. The other guy floating around out there is Battle that I'm interested in. But I'll have to drop another player to get him, probably Bush.
