Sometimes the prices don't fit what you feel is the best roster. I've already left $100 and $200 over, but I've also already replaced a guy that ends up the higher scorer for someone who cost $200-300 more just to use up all my salary. I've always had the mindset of drafting and managing a team over the long haul, and with no salary cap. This is a totally different concept, but, very userfriendly and addicting! If you refer ppl and they use your specific referral link to register and deposit cash, you get a $10 "bonus". I use quotations because it's not a real bonus. I had no idea this happened until I started seeing them pop up the first time I created this league and a couple new people started signing up. I only started playing on FanDuel the first week Axe Elf created this challenge, and then when he disappeared 2 weeks later, myself and some others wanted to keep it going. So I took it upon myself to setup the league and start this thread every week. But let me be clear, unless I keep playing on this site for several years, I will probably never even clear the $30 in bonuses I got for signing up and my first time deposit on the site. You only clear $1 in bonuses every time you play $25 in leagues. So I would have to play $750 in leagues on the site, just to clear my original bonuses. If anyone else wants to start creating this league on a weekly basis and maybe pick up a few extra bonuses, please let me know. That is not my motivation at ALL for doing this. Now that you mention it, I'd actually rather see someone else who may be playing higher stakes get some bonuses because they might actually clear them. I've just been playing $5-10 NFL and hockey leagues on the site because it's addicting and fun, but I highly doubt I ever start playing $50-100 leagues or anything. I enjoy playing. The site is addicting. I also used to gamble on sports for several hundred dollars a day, but I've gotten away from that. Still play some poker and occasionally go to the casino, but that's pretty much the only gambling I do anymore. I've just spent more time on fantasy sports over the last 2-3 years, which has filled the void of sports betting. If everyone wanted to play for $10-$25 a week, I would still be in. But the $5 league is fine with me, and still plenty of fun to compete against other members of FFToday. I still get in some other $5-10 leagues and 50/50 leagues. Mullmania needs about 9+ from Mathews to catch me. I can't get on the site right now but I know someone else has VJax and needs about 13+ to catch me. The thing that cost me was picking worthless Chris Johnson. He might not even be the starter anymore. I went a little crazy this week and played in 2 heads up matches, 2 tournaments, and a couple other leagues. I at least should come out ahead. The site is incredibly addicting. Account was down to $55 or so going to Sunday. Played it all across this challenge, couple tournaments, couple heads up matches, another league or two. Got account back up over $100. But I'll probably go broke eventually, but have fun doing it. By the way, I've been playing multiple leagues almost every day for 2-3 weeks and I think I've cleared about $9 of my bonuses. Congrats to Matt Mueller this week. He edged out Till for 1st place. I was able to hold on to 3rd place. I will setup the new challenge later tonight.
