DrG 103 Posted September 7, 2013 Reece impressed in limited duty last year for a couple of games. Thought is change to Raiders' blocking scheme really favors a 2 back set, but this is still a question mark ... Rolling w. Jennings, but not sure.
ralphster 274 Posted September 7, 2013 I ended up taking both Jennings and Reece after getting DMAC as my RB2 in one draft this year. A few weeks later I dropped Jennings to pick up another WR. I recall Reese being pretty good for a time when DMAC was down, and I believe his talent superior to Jennings. With that ragtag o line though, Oakland is in for a long year I fear. BOBnugget 1 Posted September 7, 2013 I picked Reece up off waivers last year due to injuries and he played huge part in getting me to the finals. That being said according to official depth charts Jennings is the handcuff, but who really knows what the Raiders will do. This is the same team that took Seabass in the first round
BigMilk 40 Posted September 7, 2013 Reece has some limited value as a bench player in very deep PPR leagues. But really, if you are at all involved with the Raider backfield beyond McFadden, you are in serious trouble. I am a Raider fan and this is the worst team, talent wise, in recent memory. The offensive line in particular is the worst in the league and it's not even close. They signed some dude named Tony Pashos, who was cut by the browns and then the redskins this year in camp, to be their starting right tackle this week, and have moved veteran journeyman Khalif Barnes to left tackle. Barnes would be cut from 90% of teams. He is terrible. As if this wasn't pathetic enough they just elevated a practice squad nobody to be the "swing tackle" this weekend. It's a joke. Good thing Pryor has wheels, because he is gonna be running for his life. And Bo Jackson couldn't run behind these fools, so I have to believe there are other options in your league besides Reece v. Jennings. The Raiders have sucked for awhile, but they've always had a handful of talented players. Not this year. They just flat out blow. Anyone trying to scratch out any fantasy value from Raiders is asking for trouble.
Frozenbeernuts 2,264 Posted September 7, 2013 The raiders are down to their fourth LT. I don't know if anyone could put up respectable stats in that offense. If I am going to choose one it's going to be Reece, mainly in ppr leagues. I can see a lot of dump off passes to him because everyone else on the team is covered/sucks.
DrG 103 Posted September 7, 2013 Picked up dmc at the end of the 4th and am questioning whether I bother with the handcuff

I don't understand why people feel the need to handcuff trash RBs with with trash handcuffs, even in deep leagues.
billmatic 0 Posted September 8, 2013 If DMC were to go down, I think Reece would be the only one worth having, especially in PPR leagues. Wouldn't bother rostering either at the moment though, except in deep leagues.
