luckyheel317 1 Posted August 18, 2014 12 team ESPN PPR non-keeper league - QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, K, DEF with 7 reserve slots Here are my picks: Bryant Lacy Ellington Jeffrey MFloyd Romo Vereen MWallace Rivers Ertz Tampa Dan Bailey Ridley Hartline Baldwin TWest I think it's pretty solid...there was a run on QB early, but I stayed on course with RB/WR in the first 4 rounds...since most had a QB, I picked my 3rd WR in Rd 5 and then went for QB...Kap was available, but I went with Romo...I think he could have a bounce back year. Defenses were gone early too, so I waited on those as well...I plan on swapping as needed, so, I'm not concerned about those. I think I got solid guys from 13-16. One of Ridley or Vereen should take the main snaps before too long in NE, giving me potential trade bait. Hartline is a solid bye week filler, if not better and West is a pretty good sleeper. Thoughts??

49erGold 36 Posted August 19, 2014 Oh, you did your picks in order. Top 2 picks solid expect great years from Lacy and Dez. Some injury history for Dez but he is a tough sob and played through broken hand. Lacy... well, the dreaded sophomore slump but I think he'll avoid it. I don't think he peaked last year when Aaron when down so did his chances. You went under rated 2RB-WR in mid-rounds. I like all of them. Combining both Cardinals kinda guarantees a TD. RB Ellington if healthy all year will be a beast... his production was simply lack of touches. Examples, RB Mendenhall would barely get 3 ypc but still get 50% touches, Ellington would have 5 ypc same games. WR Floyd is boom or bust player he was my deep sleeper last. Leagues with long plays favor him. Jeffrey might be the best 1 WR not picked in that spot only Brown is more under rated. QB Romo... well as long as your championship game ain't week 17 I condone it lol. With back issues think other QBs are better but likely Ryan/Collin were gone so its better than nothing. He is a great lower 1 QB who can outperform some other 1 QBs. But QB Rivers seems like steal of 2014 draft class... its like they forgot only top 2 guys did better than him... he was reborn. I'd seriously consider starting QBs on rotation basis... Romo vs 49ers week one not excited with that matchup. Not excited with Vereen or Wallace. Vereen missed lot of games but seems to have a good role think Danny Woodhead type numbers if.... healthy. Wallace, great talent but in Mia system feel is limited I think he be a safe not sexy 3 WR. Why you pick TE, K, DST? Is it autopick. This was bottom of the barrel these are usually lower TE, K, DST taken in a draft personally I'd take them lower. Most excited about TB DST. Reserves are ok but I do like handcuffing Vereen feel best thing to do, Hartline also a good move. Baldwin might be best ff WR in Sea not saying much with run 1st team. West is a legit RB to start more due to lack of depth and injury history of Tate. Final analysis 9/10 QB (If you use both by matchups will be solid corps) 10/10 WR (Top 10 guy who might be top 3. Over looked 1 WR. And a rising 2 WR.) 10/10 RB (Given size of league you got 3 legit starters and a good handcuff on a solid 3 RB) 7/10 TE (Ok TE last yr think team mate had similar production. Feel was drafted too high) 9/10 K (Forgotten K but solid talent and you will benefit from Dallas scoring with Romo + Bailey) 9/10 DST (Not the sexy top DST but rising team with talent across the board with elite coaching) Backups 10/10 QB (Consider him 1 QB Rivers) 9/10 RB (Having Pats run game is solid. Remember, how RB Blount looked in playoffs?) 8/10 WR (Serviceable nothing spectacular. Wallace is a deep threat though but sadly misused in Mia.) As far as NE RBs. RB Vereen will start if healthy be main 3rd down RB who will be part of passing game great ppr guy. Ridley position is tentative if rookie White outperforms or Ridley fumbles (ie. 2nd pre-season game) expect him to be pulled. If he has multiple fumble game in season expect him to be benched. Herbivore 1,134 Posted August 20, 2014 You got 4 players that are generally gone by the end of round 2.
