PFF Gold vs Footballguys

Recommended Posts

I'd rather burn my money than join a pay site. old school, baby ... do it all on your own, much more rewarding. there is so much more info available these days in the age of the informational superhighway. just gotta dig. those fools can't yell ya anything you can't unearth yourself.

fock the touts. fock 'em.

what the advantage to joining a pay site? what can you get there that you can't get for free from dozens of free sites?

"expert" advice and rankings?

If you did want to pay for something and are into crazy football stats and whatnot, I guess PFF. That would at least give you all sorts of advanced metrics to use to evaluate players yourself. FBG has a decent message board, but if you subscribe to their pay stuff it should just be because you enjoy reading fantasy articles that much, not because you expect their specific rankings and "expertise" to improve your success rate.

That's like paying for porn. It's all free. You can just paypal me for advice that's just as good. Here's a free preview. Don't draft K or dst til the end of ur draft, there's no such thing as canceling out and unless you get Tommy Maddox you can wait on qb.

- ya, I really have no desire to pay some stat crunchin' dork to tell me that my wr4 averages 6 targets per game against interconference opponents who wear their throwback unis on days the qb has diarrhea in sub 40 degree weather.

no thanks
