mighty3507 0 Posted October 25, 2014 I have been looking upgrade my WR situation. I have been offered Brandon Marshall and Colin Kaepernick for Andrew Luck. I have used Luck during Manning's bye and Luck's match up with the Jags. Is this a significant enough upgrade to make the trade or is it better to hold onto Luck as a great backup in case something happens to Manning? Thanks. My Team QB Peyton Manning RB Giovani Bernard RB Ronnie Hillman WR Kelvin Benjamin WR Brian Quick TE Zach Ertz FLEX Jerick McKinnon D/ST Miami K Justin Tucker Bench Andrew Luck Travis Kelce Rueben Randle Percy Harvin Bishop Sankey Branden Oliver Offerer's Team QB Andy Dalton RB Jamaal Charles RB Lamar Miller, WR A.J. secramour 4 Posted October 25, 2014 Pull the trigger. Marshall is about as safe as they come and Luck is riding your bench as a backup anyway. Kaepernick can do that too.
CallMeBigCat 1 Posted October 25, 2014 Yes do the trade. Luck doesn't help you on the bench. Kaep can fill in if somr thing were to happen with Manning.

Rathmmansboy 3 Posted October 25, 2014 Absolutely do that deal. Your rolling with Peyton from now on because he's done with his BYE. You get rid of a backup and gain a solid WR1 in Marshall. AND you have Kap as your backup. You could even play a QB by committee matchup the rest of the season as KAP plays @ OAK the week after Thanksgiving. (Peyton also plays the Raiders as well at some point)
merchasd 0 Posted October 26, 2014 No question, do it. I hope you already pulled the trigger by now
sheadtoo 1 Posted October 26, 2014 I'd want more for someone putting up 20+ points every weeks. that said....it is not a bad deal at all. I would be asking for maybe Vereen too
SAA 12 Posted October 26, 2014 From the standpoint you are trading a "bench player" and getting a starter in return, makes sense. However, Luck isn't just any bench player. He is top 3 scorer in the league! Maybe something like Luck and Oliver (Ha! Andrew Luck's dad's name is Oliver) for Marshall, Kaepernick and Miller
