Trade Advice

Recommended Posts

A guy lost Jordy and he has proposed a few trades, the latest one is this (standard scoring, start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1D): he gives up Luck and A. Brown for Rivers, J. Jones, and A. Jeffery.

My Team His Team

QB: Rivers, Brady Luck

RB: Bell, Ingram, Foster, Jennings, D. Williams L. Murray, Hyde, Ellington, Yeldon, Coleman

WR: Jones, Jeffery, M. Bryant, Marshall, Boldin, M. Jones Brown, Edelman, Crabtree, Perriman, Nelson, Parker

TE: Daniels Cameron

I don't like having both Bryant and Brown, but would definitely rather have Brown than Bryant. Luck is an upgrade obviously, but I am pretty confident Brady will perform well once he returns and Brown is a slight upgrade over Jones (although it's not a longshot if Jones outperforms Brown). I don't know if it's worth giving up an extra starter in Jeffery who may also end up a top 10 receiver. I can try and trade Bryant to another team, but I am not sure what people would be willing to give up for him. As you can see, I will be in even mored need of depth at WR. M. Jones is a potential drop as is Williams. Does anyone have an opinion on this trade? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

On my board I have Brown and Jones one and two so to me that's even . It really comes down to giving up Rivers and Jeffery for Luck , and I would not make the move . Jeffery is clearly your number two wr and after Jeffery i don't see another wr I can trust week to week . Good fill in wr but week to week no .

What about if he threw in Edelman as well? Your RB's are stout so you can handle a little drop off at your WR2. having A. Brown and Edelman as your #1 and #2 wouldn't be terrible.

A roster that looked like this would make me happy for the year

Luck

Bell, Ingram, maybe Foster in a month

Brown, Edleman, Marshall

I agree with what has been said mostly. Julio and Brown are top 5 prospects this year. If your league is 6 points passing tds then no doubt I make this trade. If it is only a 3 or 4 point passing td league I would think about it a little more. Jeffery has great upside with White being out for a while. I kind of like the Edelman idea that was thrown out above.

Thanks for mine
