sjm76 2 Posted September 15, 2015 I have D-Jax on my team as a backup wr and I've been considering dropping him because I know that hamstring injuries tend to linger and they can especially affect the speed of fast receivers like Jackson all season. Has anyone dropped him or are you thinking of dropping him? I just don't think that I would be confident playing him even later in the season during one of my wr's bye weeks as he seems too fragile. $epphori$ 118 Posted September 15, 2015 he is always on my do not draft list
Kent 228 Posted September 16, 2015 No. But I'd never draft him.
Kingstowne Dealers 14 Posted September 16, 2015 Drop him for who? Truth be told it was a brutal week for most highly drafted WR's and the pickins are slim with more than a handful of teams having zero roster-able wideouts. That wave of fresh talent at the WR position we had a few years ago has crested and I fear may have come crashing down. Browns WRs? Nope. Raiders? Nope Panthers? Nope. Ravens? Nope. There's nothing out there, yet.
sjm76 2 Posted September 16, 2015 My other wr's are Cooks, Adams, Landry and Terrence Williams. We start 3. I was going to drop him for Marcus Mariota.
dcgangstas 41 Posted September 16, 2015 I'd still hold on to DeSean. He's the ultimate boom-or-bust WR; he can get you three catches for 40 yards, or explode for 160 yards and 2 TDs. Carry him if you can.

weepaws 3,346 Posted September 16, 2015 and he is the toughest 5 foot 6 inch gangsta in the NFL...well he thinks so anyways That would be Steve Smith Jr
sjm76 2 Posted September 16, 2015 My qb's are Matt Ryan and Matthew Stafford but I also want to take a flier on Mariota just in case he is the real deal.
Newkid 1 Posted September 16, 2015 My qb's are Matt Ryan and Matthew Stafford but I also want to take a flier on Mariota just in case he is the real deal.[/quote Are you in a 2 QB league or have QB favored scoring like 6 point pass TD? If not, you might as well drop one of your QBs for Mariota and take a flier on another WR or RB.
sjm76 2 Posted September 16, 2015 Well, I ended up picking him up and dropping Jackson. As I mentioned, hamstring injuries tend to linger so it's very possible that Jackson could be limited for the rest of the season.
montana 89 Posted September 16, 2015 That would be Steve Smith Jr Considering Jr is approximately 12 months old, I'll assume you meant Sr.
Skanker 0 Posted September 16, 2015 Drop in 8-team leagues. In any other real league, keep him.
Ray_T 786 Posted September 16, 2015 He's a more than adequate #3 WR. hes only missing 4-6 games. I'd hang onto him unless you absolutely have to drop him. I suspect the roster pressure to do so will start in week 4 when bye weeks begin. At that point the decision to keep him may get harder. I have him as my #4 WR in my auction league. I picked him up as my #4 WR last year, and was pretty happy with what he delivered.
