Waiver Wire priority help needed, who do I put first?

Recommended Posts

I have to cover injuries and bye weeks and have Hyde and Allen out. 1/2 PPR league, starting standard 8 players.

Current RB

Ivory

Hyde

Bernard

Forsett

Current WR/TE

K.Allen

S. Diggs

A. Jeffrey

C. Clay

R. Cobb

Hyde and Allen are out. Forsett is on a bye.

The following players are being targeted on the WW. I have 4th priority in the rotation. 2 of the owners have given up on the season, so likely I'll have second pick.

RB D. Williams - Not likely to get him but this will be my top claim. Dropping Hyde.

Now who do I target after this? I have a decent chance to pick up either of the following!

WR M. Floyd - I can drop a bunch of players, probably C. Clay.

RB J. Langford - I would have to drop either Hyde or Bernard. I think Hyde.

Would you go for Floyd or Langford? Post yours WHIR

Not sure who you then have at TE if you drop Clay but yes do it for Floyd and Langford for Hyde.

If you have to choose between the two, I'd go Floyd to strengthen your WRs, especially w/ Allen out.

TE isn't a required starter in our league, I can safely drop Clay. We have the option to flex a WR or TE.

Start 2RB and 3 WR/TE? I can see Ivory struggling while Fitzpatrick is out. i would probably grab Langford after Williams, I feel he has the most value right now and you could start him. tough to dump Hyde as he I think he has some value down the stretch. Would you start Floyd over diggs,Alshon or Cobb? I wouldn't. I would put Floyd 3rd as priority. I'm guessing both RBS will go in the top 3 waiver picks anyways. Good luck.

I'd go Floyd.

Langford will be a 2-3 week RB2-3 then back to irrelevance when Forte comes back.

Floyd is a steady WR2 with huge upside, especially with Chargers injuries.

^^ this, no reason for me to retype it. But I wouldn't drop clay if you can avoid it. He's tmobile's favorite target and he comes back this week. So does Watkins but give him half a quarter and he'll break another nail and go back to slamming his fans on instagram.

Cobb is benchable at this point, and I say that as a Cobb owner, so floyd will probably make the most immediate impact on your starting lineup. I'd drop Hyde for floyd. He's a one hit wonder and SF just traded for P Thomas. The SF is a mess to begin with. You can't reliably start anyone from that team at this point.

SCORE! One league I got Langford and Floyd. Dropped Hyde and K. Allen.

Other league I got D. Williams.

Good WW for me. Now watch all of them suck.

No watch Hyde explode at the end of the season XD, Floyd is still on my WW and plan on leaving him there lol...

Hyde. I give a if he does. He lost me several games with pedestrian performances. Let someone else worry about him. Plus his QB got even worse. Now all of a sudden Hyde is gonna morph into a stud RB? Nah. Don't see it. He'll have 1/or 2 more decent games tops.
