Most people graduate college with a BS at about 22 yrs old. So in 5 years you did all of the stuff you listed above, including becoming a major in the Army and graduating from medical school? Seriously, PM me if you realize how stupid this sounds and you want me to delete this post to keep your charade going.

Yeah, he's whining about someone else's stolen valor, but there's no way in hell he was ever an officer in the US Army.

How good are guns as an investment?

If sh!t were to hit the fan (unlikely, but the world is getting more focked up every day), it's a good investment. Anything that someone owns, or "has", they will no longer have it if they don't have a gun. Someone with a gun will just come and take it. Sorry, but it's true. (Oh wait, the government will save you, so never mind)

If you hunt with kids or friends, , spend time outdoors, etc...I call that an investment of sorts.

Monetarily? I dunno. Win some, lose some. Guns hold value well. But certainly not my choice in a financial investing.

Not if you drop your shotgun in the water when wading across the river during a cast and blast

That sounds like a great excursion.

I agree....yes...to me they are an investment as far as that goes. I don't plan on selling any, ever, is what I mean.

I just traded a S&W 10 mm and a Para 45 for a German Mauser 243 rifle. This was done for investment purpose AND one hell of a deer slayer.
