Open a a door with a hidden poison arrow trap or mistake a gas spore for a beholder with a low constitution and you'll change your tune. Yea, well if you have better dexterity then it wouldn't matter, given your saving throw for such thing would be much better odds. I can open treasure chests! Meanwhile your arm is infested with a hoard of rot grubs and you die of freeking dungeon blight when your other party members try to contain the infestation by cutting off your arm and the red hot axe blade they use to cauterize the stump isnt quite sterile and it gets infected. I was a half elf one time....ONE TIME I usually went for a Paladin. (Human) My +5 Holy Avenger was the shizznet. How did I aquire a +5 Holy Avenger, you ask? I blew the DM. I'm not ashamed about it, either. So worth it. Now that we are trying to out D&D each other, I still have the original Players Handbook, Dungeon Masters Guide, Monster Manual and Dieties and Demigods. I have no idea where they are, but I know that I still have them. Monster Manual and Dieties and Demigods were my favorite. Gygax and frineds sure put some time into making those How gay am I that if I could find either one right now, they would be placed next to the shitter for morning reading?
