UPDATE: MIA signs C.J. Anderson to offer sheet - DEN Matches

Recommended Posts

Bronocs matched Dolphins 18 million offer.

CJ will remain a Bronco.

Did it make a difference in fantasy on what team he landed on?

Will it impact where you would take him in your draft?

he was on my DND list last year as most owners were targeting him late 1st or early 2nd round. He will almost certainly go at about the same spot so likely I won't draft him unless he falls to the 3rd round (which he won't).

This is shocking.

I was sure the Broncos would let him walk. I figured if they wanted him, they would have tendered him a better offer so they get a 2nd round pick if someone else poaches him.

Clearly they misjudged the market for his services.

Wow, they must have no confidence that Hillman can stay healthy or split carries with Thompson.

They're overpaying big time for their RBBC, yet they let Brock take a walk?

The Broncos screwed this entire situation up from the start. Their cheapskate ways ended up costing them more money in the end. Comical. Absolutely hilarious

Hillman is a free agent as well...

Really, wow. Well I guess given Anderson outperformed Hillman, then they're throwing in with him.

Still, no QB will mean stacked defenses, tough to run against that.

I hope the Dolphins now target a guy like C.J. Prosise in the draft. He'd be a solid complement to Ajayi IMHO

Wont target any denver Rbs this year. Ajayi i like but they have showed they want someone else there so I cant trust him with anything but a later pick.

Yea hard to rank a player highly when his own team tried to sign someone else at the same postion .

Denver has much bigger problems than its running back, or even what overpaid scrub they bring in to play QB for that matter. Their offensive line was a seive last year, and it's going to be putridly worse in 2016. Both starting guards are most likely gone, Louis Vazquez having been the heart and soul of that line. Their starting center is a former sixth round pick. Sambrailo missed his entire rookie season and is starting fresh. Just about EVERY rookie offensive lineman last year struggled to some degree. Ryan Clady is coming off surgery and HE may be a cap casualty. Max Garcia performed well, and will probably take the place of either Vazquez or Mathis. Ryan Harris is just another body. And right tackle Michael Schofield needed therapy and remedial work after being abused by Khalil Mack.

The unit gelled for the super bowl run, thanks in large part to Peyton Manning's field generalship and ability to check out of vulnerable formations and plays. They are going to sorely miss that.

That offensive line is a dumpster fire and that team is in big trouble, elite defense or not.
