Cruises: Good Vacations or a Poor Mans Vacation?

meh - if I was single, I'd love a cruise - but not so much anymore.

Cruises are abundant mediocrity... abundant booze, food, entertainment, and gambling but all of the mediocre variety. And the "Excursions" are expensive cattle-calls. But, if you're single, you can meet women - either passengers or ship employees - lots of young, attractive women working on cruise ships and they aren't making a lot of money, they are there for "the experience".

 

I'd rather take Mrs.TD to an island destination or nice hotel in Europe, but that's just my opinion. And if somebody told me tomorrow I'd be going on a cruise for free, I'd (probably) be looking forward to it.

Guys can absolutely clean up on a cruise ship. Especially if you go on the cheaper cruises that are really just one big party.
