TE Help

Looking to make some moves with TE. Dynasty League, currently have the following:

 

Ebron

Brate

Hooper (Just drafted him at 4.02)

 

Looking at the following free agent TEs:

 

Clive Walford

Jesse James

Vance McDonald

 

What move(s) should I make?

James and Walford both have value. I'd takes James over Brate.

I would pick up Jesse James and drop Brate as well. TY for mine.

I will go with the guys ahead of me. James > Brate.

 

Walford and McDonald? Neither of them do anything for me.

I like the potential of McDonald. Ertz had a quiet, but solid year last year under Kelly. There isn't much talent at WR in SF, so McDonald should get plenty of opportunities to put up some nice numbers. If he can reach 100 targets he'll be a great weekly starter. In that offense I think you can expect 60-700-6 as a floor with 80-1000-9 as a ceiling. I like Walford, but between Cooper and Crabtree and then mixing in Murray, I don't think there will be enough opportunities for Walford. As good as Heath Miller was the Steelers just don't use TE's much. James will be decent, but if Green comes back healthy it could be a 50/50 split.

 

McDonald seems like the highest upside here.

I would drop Brate for either Walford or McDonald.

 

McDonald will get volume check downs in that up tempo offense. Walford won't get as many looks, but he will be one of Carr's favorite end zone targets.
