SexyRexy 60 Posted November 16, 2017 I think this is a huge thing to know this week. Does he shadow? Any idea on if so who he will? If he shadows woods Id be in on Watkins and very out in woods If he doesnt shadow Id be more in on woods and more out on Watkins.
cousinal111 57 Posted November 16, 2017 Not sure. I haven't been to the Vikings defensive coaches meeting yet this week to get their gameplan. Good luck.
SexyRexy 60 Posted November 16, 2017 I mean sure. But does he typically shadow? You can deduce from what has been done.
Brutal Brutus 182 Posted November 16, 2017 I think last week he shadowed Doctson, which leads me to believe that even when there isn't a true #1 on the other team he still shadows someone and it may not be based on the other receivers production. I'd guess Watkins, but that's simply a guess.
Viking14 5 Posted November 16, 2017 Usually plays on the left side of QB. At some point in the game he may shadow, if needed. He left the field last week for something, but have not followed up on that.
cousinal111 57 Posted November 17, 2017 ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Vikings are "optimistic" CB Xavier Rhodes (questionable, hip) will play Sunday against the Steelers. Steelers play tonight. Vikings play the Rams Sunday.

Watkins is also faster than Woods or Kupp so he may check Watkins all game.
