Probably the most damage the left did to its credibility was damn near universally accuse Bush43 of war crimes and then just give him a pass the second he left office. They also did it to Schwarzenegger, where they tried to paint him as a vile human being until he left the office of California Governor, then he was welcomed back by the left. Its a joke now. I think the vast majority of Americans see this sham for what it is. It sets off a lot of car alarms but in the end just annoying having to get your car fob and click it off several times a week. Eventually, waste of time even clicking the fob.
