I have no concrete examples atm.  I just know liberals.  They'll find ways.  You can't trust liberals with power.  EVER.

Some of it might be just to see if the Feds will take them to court over it.  If they don't - when a Democrat becomes POTUS - then it effectively IS in the control of maryland.

Fair enough. 

I just distrust giving Democrats/Liberals ANY control at all based on their history of craving power.  They will try to find ways to get as much of it as possible.
