2021 Schedule

With the NFL going up to 17 games, they've got bye weeks going up to week 14. Which would be the first week of our playoffs, putting some teams at a severe disadvantage.

So do we up to a 14 game regular season, or institute a league wide bye week 14 and start the playoffs week 15?

They screwed us here.   Ugh.   I'll look at our options.

The obvious answer if we go to 14 weeks would be to play the team in the same place we finished in the other division. Last year's 1st in the North plays 1st in the South, 2nd in the East plays 2nd in the West, etc.

But the schedule's been plug and play forever, so it would be easier just to make week 14 a bye.

Either is fine with me, I just wanted to point out the issue.

Another option is to have week 1 a bye week. This way seems more fair than a week 14 bye.

Yea, if we want to keep it to a 13-week schedule, I agree, skip week 1.  

I don't mind doing something custom for Week 14 though.      V4E's suggestion is pretty good.  But, I'd make those games East vs West and North vs South.
