travelr1 3 Posted September 26, 2022 I need some RB waiver wire advice. I am first on the wire this week. League is PPR, 2RB's and one Flex. Current RB's (Max is 5 per team) - Cook, Mixon, Dillon, Patterson, Hunt Since I likely can not swing a trade should I drop someone (if so, whom) and pick up one of the available RB's such as Mattison or Herbert? Rest of Team: QB - Wentz and Carr RB's - See above WR's - Pittman, D Johnson, M. Williams, G.Davis, B Cooks, T.Burks TE - Okwuegbunam and Hurst (trying to trade for a better TE) DST - Rams and Patriots K - Carlson Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
recespieces31 12 Posted September 26, 2022 Unless Cook isnt going to play (signs pointing to he is), you have solid RBs. RB scoring this year is down. But it’s a tough decision, good luck. Cook played with a device last year for the same exact injury. He had a 27/205/2 stat line. But nothing wrong with getting Mattison as insurance. weepaws 3,158 Posted September 27, 2022 Yes Cook did have that great game, but he also missed the very next game after he suffered his injury, and Mattison had a very good game in that one. I think you should get Mattison OP, Cook might have a tough time playing with this current injury, but if he doesn’t then you still have Mattison for the following week,Cook does have a history of missing a few games every season. Mark91G 14 Posted September 27, 2022 I have cook and am grabbing mattison who I feel is a top rb in his own right and cook will miss time.
