TommyGavin 790 Posted July 8, 2023 I’m hit or miss. Nothing else on - No sports I’ll watch and get really interested in it. We have a not so close but friend but anyway he bartends in our favorite Italian restaurant (and he went to high school with my wife) - neat to follow him on TV. Flipper 57 Posted July 8, 2023 I think Poker on TV had its peak about 20 years back ... Still remember the DVD I bough with 'lessons' from Howard Lederer and the clan. Still think it comes down to raw gambling. Still watch a little but it seems they are desperate for the personalities from yesteryear and in today's age they ain't gonna get it

jerryskids 5,268 Posted July 8, 2023 I don't seek it out, but if it comes on after a ballgame (which seems to happen often), I find myself watching. Since it is curated for TV a lot of the hands they show have either (1) a great play by someone, or (2) a bad beat.
